Open Saturday by appointment. We offer a variety of general and cosmetic dentistry modalities including teeth cleaning, fillings, bonding and veneers, tooth extractions, root canals, inlays and on-​lays, bridges, teeth whitening, Zoom! whitening and dentures.

We use state of the art technology including digital x-​rays, diode lasers and intraoral camera. It is one of our top priorities to protect the well-​being of our valued patients. For this reason, our office meets and surpasses all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and CDC (Center for Disease Control) standards. We are confident that you will feel right at home in our office as we welcome all patients as if they were family.

History

Established in 2002.

Palm Springs Family and Cosmetic Dental Practice opened in 2002. Dr. Shepherd started serving dental patients in the Palm Springs area at Palm Springs Family and Cosmetic Dental Practice in 2008.

Dr. Shepherd is a native of Georgetown, SC. He graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 1994. He began his dental career as a commissioned officer in the Navy and Public Health Service. After eight years in the Pacific NW, Dr. Shepherd sought to fulfill his love of the sun and warm weather. He has enjoyed making Palm Springs his permanent home. Dr. Shepherd remains committed to quality patient care.

Business Owner

Dr. Shepherd is a native of Georgetown, SC. He graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 1994. He began his career as a commissioned officer in the Navy and Public Health Service serving in California, Arizona and Alaska. During his service, Dr Shepherd worked in a variety of clinical settings including hospital based practices, rural health clinics and remote villages above the Arctic Circle.

Following his service, Dr Shepherd moved to Vancouver, Washington where he joined a large group practice focusing on quality dentistry and high patient satisfaction. As an «evidence based» practice, Dr. Shepherd was privilaged to participate in research and the use and evaluation of new dental technology and techniques.

After eight years in the Pacific NW, Dr Shepherd saught to fulfill his love of the sun and warm weather. He openned Palm Springs Dental Practice in May of 2008 and has enjoyed making Palm Springs his permanent home. Dr Shepherd remains commit
