I am so disappointed to have to change my review from 5 stars to 1 star. The first time I visited Dr. Ayoub I thought for sure he was the doctor for me. He seemed straight to the point, caring, but most importantly knowledgeable. I was so very wrong. He attempts to play the part of knowledgeable about everything, but he is not and who can be? We are all human. Unfortunately, I trusted him as my provider and he failed me big time. Without exposing all of my medical information to the world, he simply does not know how to handle individuals with depression. He panics and does not utilize the resources available to him, including other doctors who have worked with patients previously (psychologists included!). He also gives incorrect information regarding medications. I get it, there are so many different types of medications out there and I do not expect my doctor to know every single one of them, but do not spout off information without verifying it first! I would also recommend if you have to visit him for whatever reason, to not trust speaking openly to him. He exaggerates and takes what you say to an extreme. Beware.

Quick Notes: Do not consider this guy as your primary doctor, he is as hard as a mule and has a odd fetish for loafers. He is sarcastic, sometimes rude and will even go as far to intimidate you. His wife is the one who usually makes us smile before we leave. Doctor Ayoub your attitude sucks and your $ 300 loafers are not in fashion.

Arrogant and uncaring. Probably the worst medical experience I have had. I traveled from overseas to see an American doctor and visit my family all of whom live in the Palm Springs area. I have been a part-​time resident of Palm Springs over 30 years although I currently reside in Europe. In anticipation of the appt. I had my blood work done two days earlier, I had not had blood work done in 10 years, I asked Dr. Ayoub about the results and he said I was fine… what about my cholesterol? What about all the other things blood works shows? I turned 50 this year, he did not suggest a colonoscopy, mamogram — Nothing, it was like he wanted to rush me out of there to make way for the next appt. Did not want to answer any questions at all or explain things, also, he mentioned he went to med school 20 years ago yet the wall plaque indicated he completed his residency in 2008, that seemed odd. When I said I have serious trouble sleeping he suggested I go to tijuana and get drugs, seriously. wow, awful. I later discovered he treats addicts, maybe that is why he has a negative attitude.

I have been shopping around for a new Dr for about a year. I came across Dr Ayoub’s office and was very impressed with his ratings, reviews, location, availability AND front desk ladies.
I was able to be seen immediately. The office is gorgeous! I took some pictures. I always love fish tanks that are well taken care of with expensive taste. It passes the time… but actually, I was seen almost right away.
Thanks to this office. I am a scheduled visitor.
