A few months back I would have happily given them a 5, but sadly our experiences are becoming less favorable. We are usually there 3 + times a week, and have been very loyal. We love the atmosphere. But when things start to go wrong, they go wrong. Waiters forgetting half of my order. Changes, whether permanent or not, to ingredients in certain things, (one of them being the exact same order I have every Saturday and Sunday morning), last night yet another order got screwed up, interestingly enough by the same waiter that always seems to screw up.
We love Bongo’s. We love the owners and most of the staff. We love[d] the food, but have not been happy of late. Sadly, we are going to have to start looking elsewhere for a regular place :(

Good local business. The quesadillas and sliders were good. The crab cakes — not sure it was crab. The Seafood Ceviche was full of seafood but no cilantro which should be a must in a Latin inspired dish, also the ceviche base was rather thick and ketchup-​like

He was not wrong! I ended up going a second time while in town!
Great burgers, fun selection of novelty fries.
On my second night I had Fish & Chips. They were good, but the burger hit it out of the park for me.
Awesome little patio! Super cozy and fun to people watch from.
I was surprised to see other reviews talking about bad service, I am happy to say that was absolutely not our experience. The service was great, I could see them getting a little to busy, but for our table we had no complaints!

Very good food. The wait staff was very nice. I had a barbecue ranch chicken salad which was good but it had a tad too much dressing — I should have asked for it on the side. My friends got burgers, both of which I tried and they were tasty. I’d definitely go there again. They have a very good menu.

I found THIS cool little placeopen late, to grab a sammy and truffle fries, before checking out the local casino…

I come here all the time for the dinner, they have cool dinner specials. I had prime rib for 17.95 and it was good! Today I’ve had the cobb salad my very favorite, and one of the best i have had in Palm springs.
Today I am also enjoying the bottomless Mimosa’s, sitting on the patio under the misters. I’ll be back!

A very nice Patio and small interior but serves big portions. The salads topped with a protein (sampling beef or turkey burger) are sumptuous and hearty ($ 11.95)
The pacific Salad can be accommodated with a grilled salmon ($ 17.95) — a little steep.
Ownership is changing! Current proprietor sold so things may change.
Happy Hour food choices are dismal with jalapeño poppers; fried zucchini: loaded potato skins: and fried mozzarella — all a dieters do-​not-​dare. $ 3 well drinks or beer but no discounts on wine, a Pinot Grigio Santa Cristina is $ 9.00 per glass. Well back to LA
Overall a quiet & quaint lunch patio. Salads & burgers run supreme.
