DO NOT TRUST this moving company. They took there time packing my families things (and they took longer than quoted on purpose). Worst company ever. They did such a bad job, I called to speak with management and have yet to return my phone calls (even after 5 calls/​messages). They do not deliver what they promise.

6 days ago Bob’s Movers moved me from Palm Springs to Palm Desert. This was not a move I had planned to make but one that was necessary. Any qualms I had Bob and Chris quickly removed from my mind. They were on time; fast; extremely helpful; courteous… and when we were finally in my new place were sure that everything had been moved in and placed where I wanted it. This even means a few changes in positioning of furniture. They made the move so easy it was over before I knew it.
Their rates were excellent. I had a 3-​hour minimum and everything was done exactly on time so no going into overtime. Also they had emailed a confirmation and called when on the way and when there. So no need to feel any anxiety about if and when they would arrive. When I move again I won’t even look at another moving company. Neither should you!!!

This is the second move that Bob’s Moving performed for me and my wife. Bob and his team of professional movers knows how to take care of you and your belongings. This time he packed two 16′ PODS from two storage units. The storage units were 10×20 & 10×10. His many years of experience shows with the attention to detail. Do NOT use this company! Hired them to move furniture today from Rancho Mirage to Palm Springs for a company that I work for. Simple staging/​rental furniture with minimal small items. They gave me an estimate of 3 – 5 hours, but ended up taking more than 8 hours, which cost us $ 800+. In the middle of the move, they decided to go grab drinks and thought it to be fair to charge us for them. On top of that, they were slow, sat around outside the house for an hour until they started moving furniture in. They didn’t even bother putting the furniture back together and we had to have the contractors put the remaining furniture back together.
When I called them about this issue, instead of providing professional customer service and resolving the issue like an adult or working professional, the grown man proceeded to yell at me and say «I don’t need this right now. This conversation is over.»
I’ve used multiple moving companies, and I have NEVER been charged this much. Even for distances that take 1 — 1.5 hours between properties, my quotes and charges have NEVER been past $ 500.
True professionals, everyone. Watch out if you still choose to use this company. Get quoted 3 – 5 hours and then get charged for 8 hours.

1) better rates than competitors.
2) emailed confirmation recapping everything we discussed on the phone – what moving company does that???
3) changed my move date 2 days before and Bob accommodated us. Payton sent us an updated email confirmation.
4) totally professional move! Fast, no-​nonsense, professional demeanor, on-​time – noticeably different from other movers.
5) no hidden fees!
All of our belongings were undamaged, they put our boxes in the rooms we needed them to be in, and checked in repeatedly to be sure they were doing everything we needed them to do. We WILL use them the next time we move!

Bob has moved me twice and both times went perfect and fast.
They wont let you lift a thing, they do it all themselves which is the way it should be.

Just moved to Palm Springs. Bob and his guys did a great job unloading our moving truck and finished quicker than expected. They showed up on time; were friendly, hard-​working and careful with our furniture — nothing got damaged. Based on this experience, I would definitely use Bobs Moving and Labor again.

Bob, Butch and Chris were great. They were very professional, courteous and efficient. They handled the projects with care, optimistic attitudes and completed everything we needed done perfectly.
When they first arrived, they literally rolled out a red carpet (pad) in order to protect the floors simply for the foot traffic. They were helpful and easy to work with when placing furniture in just the right place… if they didn’t think it was right, they presented a solution.
These are the kind of people you want when working with the most discerning of people and customers.
Did a great job for my client.
Will definitely call them for the next job in the Palm Springs area.

Bob’s Moving was amazing! The guys worked hard and were nice. I was quoted 4 – 4.5 hours, and we were all finished in 3.5 hours! The price was reasonable too. I would definitely use this company again!!!

This is the worst moving company I have ever used. The reviews on Unilocal have to be bogus. They did not pad anything scratched broke and even f’d up my grandfather clock that is survived two world wars. I would never recommend this company save yourself time and money and go with somebody who is professional

This was my first move, so I was really nervous when we hired Bobs Moving. My husband told me that things never go smoothly when it comes to moving, so I prepared myself for the worst. Bob and his crew confirmed the day before, they showed up ON TIME the day of the move and moved everything without a scratch! I found them very professional and reasonable in terms of the price. After they worked the whole day and put furniture in my new house, they asked me if anything needed to be moved to other location. Do not look anywhere else, you found your movers!!!

I moved on Monday, November 25, 2013. Bobs Moving and Labor provided such a great service. Butch and another guy (forgive my memory) were so polite, helpful and professional. The move took 3 hours and was so smooth, it was all I could talk about at work and to anyone who would listen. The only bad thing which is preventing me from giving them 5 stars is the clerical side. First the email I was expecting was so late I got nervous and starting researching other companies. Then I get a text message from Payton saying she must of written the email address down incorrectly please send the correct spelling of my name and my email. Then when the email came, my name is misspelled and the attachment mentioned in the email wasn’t attached. Finally got all the correct information and I’m set for moving day. Well moving day came and when I got the call from the movers they asked for Lashay Wenta um, my name is LaShawnda Cousins (way off) I would of loss my movers had the person on the other end not said who they were. I have a receipt from the movers with the name Lashay Wenta on it. I would think you’d get my name write when I texted it to you and spelled it correctly in my reply email. Very bad for business when you can’t get your customers names correct. Other than that the movers were great. Should I move again, I will use this service provided they can get my name right.

I was very pleased with Butch, Francisco, and Roberto. They arrived on time, confirmed the time the day before, and were courteous and really fast. Nothing was broken, and the communication over the price was really good. 3 men at a 3 hour minimum plus a 35 dollar gas charge came to a total of 350. It was WAY worth it. They moved my piano with no problem, and even stopped at a furniture store and picked up a piece for me to save me a delivery charge. YES I tipped them well on top of the charges.

Excellent. All I can say is that Bob and his co worker Butch were the best movers I’ve used and I’ve moved over 5 times in 15 years. His rates are better than the big guys and he is very professional. I’m so impressed that I would never use another mover. They were polite, on time, courteous, friendly and helpful. They were very careful with all of our belongings, nothing broken. No hidden charges. They helped put boxes in rooms they belonged and got the job done quickly.. Five Stars!!!
