History
Established in 1973.
BX Beer Depot has a lot of history in Palm Beach County. We have been selling kegs for over 40 years and in 2002 we transitioned to a new location that was one of the first beer stores that started selling craft beer before it was cool. We also started selling homebrew supplies at that time and remain the only full service homebrew shop to date. We also are the only place in Palm Beach County that sells kegerator parts locally. We are also one of the only places that fill Co2 on site and you can also come in the store and drink a draft of some of the best craft beer in South Florida. We are your One stop Keg, craft beer and Homebrew Shop.
Meet the Business Owner
Sally P.
Business Owner
I have owned BX Beer Depot for 10 years and bought the store when the owner was selling due to his relocation for my brother to run. We were a drive through store that sold Budweiser, cigarettes and lottery for people in Palm Beach County for 30 years. My brother left in 2006 and then we were offered money to buy the location. The choices were to take the money and close down or move. The decision to keep the business was made partly because, at that time we were one of the only places that sold kegs at that time. When we found the new location was about the time that we tasted one of our first craft beers and realized that there was more to beer than Budweiser. We started selling craft beer and a friend of mine told me about a homebrew shop that was selling and we bought that business and the rest is history
