History

Established in 2010.

SoC was established in 2010 by Erin Smith, master stylist and educator. Erin is a Michigan native, but has called Palm Harbor her home for 10 years. After graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in Criminal Justice, Erin pursued her cosmetology education at Douglas J Aveda Institute in East Lansing, Michigan. She moved to Florida in the fall of 2005 to pursue her career as a stylist in a warmer climate. After establishing a steady clientele, Erin opened her own business in 2010.

Erin Smith fantasized about being a salon owner from the age of 5. Infatuated with hair at a young age, she got a perm and learned how to French braid at 8, and was highlighting her friends hair by middle school. Some of her favorite memories of childhood and adolescence involve spending time at the hair salon. Education has always been important to her, so she attended college and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University before pursuing her dream of becoming a stylist and salon owner. She loves making women feel beautiful and helping people look their best. You will not be disappointed with a visit to Erin, as she listens to what you like, how you wear your hair, and the level of maintenance you desire.
