I wish I found this gem a long time ago. They put a lot of meat in their sandwiches and their large subs are 13-inches long! Open till 5-Am everyday, local delivery till 4-Am, Beer and wine to go till 3-am. I’ve been there several times and everything I’ve tried is awesome. Shlomo Steak sandwich, Italian Lover’s Sub, the Ultimate Sub, Cuban Sandwich, Chicken Caesar Wrap, Philly Steak, Grilled Chicken, and their potato salad is some of the best I’ve ever had! Their everyday specials are great for anyone on a budget, buy one sandwich and get a second one for .99-cents! Their set up is simple like a typical small deli so the seating is not for atmosphere, but if you want great food fast, and at late hours, you should try it out! (P.S. I’m looking at some of the negative reviews and laughing. They are mostly out-of-towners or entitled Princesses. Shlomo’s is a great place for fast good food!)

My boyfriend and I ate inside and were put in an awkward situation because of the staff on last night. Some girls from outside came in and started talking with the staff and then proceeded to start what seemed like an argument with the girl behind the counter(brown hair) and then they said something about stds and we almost considered not having them make our food. Very unprofessional! Menu looked awesome, food was alright;really wasn’t what I was expecting and could’ve used more sauce. Hot sandwiches are great tho.

I was staying at the nearby Days Inn Hotel and decided to place an order at Schlomos. I have a complaint, the sandwiches are So Big they can feed a party. Not only are the sandwiches huge, but the taste is out of site. The best sandwiches I’ve had in a very long time. Thank you thank you thank you. Linda

Worst food EVER! I don’t know what’s happening in this Clearwater area but it’s been horrible… the restaurants are just terrible! Ordered from this place after a concert, it was referred to us by our hotel lobby saying it was the only place open at 11:30 at night for delivery… was delivered about an hour later and the food was uneatable… really? Just because your the only place open you think it’s right to deliver & sell such horrible food? The Caesar salad was doused in salad dressing and the sub sandwich I don’t even know what kind of meat it was and the bread was horrendous!!! Don’t waist your money! And They charge $ 5 for delivery, plus we tipped the driver! Go to bed hungry and hope for a decent breakfast at the hotel… will let you know about that one in the morning!

I was hungry tonight and about to order because they DO have the late night delivery thing going on… BUT I am making a grilled cheese instead because the last time they came here and delivered it was some little punk girl who brought us our order. My wife was walking down the stairs of our condo and I was saying to a friend«ain’t this a bitch» about something completely irrelevant, something that was in a movie on the television and that little high school Delivery girl Yelled up the stairs, «you best not talk to your girl like that in front of me». I’m happily married with 3 kids… If I wasn’t in my robe I would have gone downstairs And pulled her distributor cap from Her car and thrown her in the lake out back. Get some Respectful employees. Fire the little Kids that watch the Kardashian’s and can’t Pull up their pants …. Or don’t send out your employees at 2AM if they hate their job and are also high on drugs…

The setting isn’t what you go for at this place. It’s pretty hole in the wall looking. But the food is pretty good and they are open super late. The gyro I ordered was very well done, i also added chicken to it, though the chicken was a touch salty it was good, and the garlicky zip of the tatziki sauce was a great foil for the pile of meat. They have a large array of soft drinks and beers.

Food is sub par. Service is horrible, and unprofessional. We ordered a 12 inch 5 – 0 sub. It supposedly has chicken bacon mushrooms and onions on it when we ordered it you could tell that the chicken has been microwaved the hoagie was soggy and the potato salad had a sweet almost different flavor to it. It did not taste like potato salad at all. Lastly the only good thing about our meal was that they delivered but it was a waste of $ 20 for something that should’ve cost seven will never go there again don’t spend your hard earned money on it.

It’s great they deliver so late but getting someone on the phone is about impossible and the guy answering the phone was a dick. The food showed up late and was wrong. They would of kept my business if the food would of been good but yet again another let down. If you’re hammered and don’t want to drive it’s a decent option but I will go with a frozen pizza next time.

I wish I could tell you about the food, but the sole person working the counter just stood and looked at me from the kitchen area. The placement of hookahs around the place is also a turnoff. «Shlomo» could be renamed slo-mo and that would be about right. I left and found another place to eat.

I’m only giving this one star, because I can’t give it a zero. I suppose it deserves one star for being open until 4 am, to feed the faces of semi-conscious night owls. The food here gives mind to the kind of food you could expect not-too-bright high school kids would whip up if they had absolutely no idea how to do anything. The chicken gyro was terrible, the chicken dry, tasteless and overcooked. The tzatziki was totally weird and disgusting, no cucumber or garlic, but mint was in it, like a gross watery toothpaste. I had grape leaves, which were also inedible, no oil dressing, no lemon sauce, no discernible meat or seasoned rice in it, just greasy turds of rolled grape leaves with what seemed like gummy Play-Doh in the center. The hummus was watery and tasted bad, like a cleaning chemical was in it. The pita chips were weird, stale and tasteless. The worst was the Baba Gannoush, goopy foul-tasting watery puke. I have no idea how they could do anything right here, even if you had no taste buds or sense, the food is still a very poor value compared to the many other terrible places in the area. They are so nuts they even offer a forty dollar meat and cheese«Hungry Man» sandwich on the menu that comes with a free fountain drink.

Stopped to eat at 12:15 am one guy on his phone second guy finally comes around to front of the counter and neither ever says a word to us. We stood in the store for ten minutes. My thoughts to the owner you need new staff before you are out of business. Gave a star because I had to to leave a review.

This place is absolutely incredible! I’ve had many a sandwich in my lifetime and 99% of the time they range from ok to good, but this place is fantastic! One of the few other places that can compete here are the two famous Philly cheesesteak shops right across from each other in Philly itself — and that comparison is definitely high praise. Their beer selection is ridiculous — icelandic ale, no joke and it’s delicious! Thank you to Tony and Irish for their amazing sandwich making skills and friendly service!

I must have gotten lucky and gone during their off hours, because I was the only one in there ordering a sandwich. Being pregnant, sometimes I have cravings. Typically they’re not sweet in nature, but more savory. I remembered Mark H talking about a sandwich place in palm harbor that was open late. Being it was July 4th, I needed a place that was probably open and figured they would be. My car drove me to their establishment(although I nearly passed it-it’s across the street from Ferman BMW in a tiny strip center with a mattress store) and I entered to the 2 employees cooking a ton of bacon. I’m assuming they were getting ready for tonight’s late crowd. I went with Lauren’s suggestion and got the shlomo steak on a pita wrap. This is basically a Philly cheese steak, but they spread a garlic concoction on the bread. It was fresh. So fresh that the guy making my sandwich was cutting the mushrooms up as my meat was cooking. The end result was a really good, savory sandwich. It was moist and full of flavor. When in the area, I will stop in and try another one of their creations.

This is one of the best deli sandwich joints in the area. They have beers and wines from all over. The sandwiches do take a while to make but they are made from scratch and worth the wait. The pastrami and cheese steaks are delicious! If you’re in the area, check it out!

This place is a little strange. While a few friends and I were hanging out at 7venth Sun Brewery on Saturday, we became hungry and asked an employee there about some places from which we could order something to eat. He recommended Shlomo. We didn’t know anything about it before he cited its name. We trusted his opinions about it, however, and decided to give it a chance. My two friends ordered sandwiches, and I ordered a wrap. I believe mine was called The Wild Courtney or Kourtney; something like that. Our food arrived some time later(we were told it might be between 45 minutes to an hour for the wait, and I think it ended up being closer to an hour; not a big deal, really). The somewhat unpleasant surprise pertained to the food that we received. Each of the items we ordered were extraordinarily spicy, and I don’t believe that they should have been. My wrap arrived as expected and contained spicy peppers, olives and more, but there was something about it that was almost unbearably spicy/hot. Perhaps whoever made the sandwiches accidentally put an unnecessary/extra ingredient on these items. I don’t know, really. One of my friends said her sandwich also was incredibly hot, and the other friend’s sandwich(a chicken sandwich with Buffalo sauce) also was overwhelmingly hot. Yes, he was expecting a kick, considering that he ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich, but he wasn’t expecting it to be THAT hot. My wrap was practically uneatable as just a few bites of it had my mouth feeling like the inside of an active volcano. It tasted pretty good, but there was something on it that I wasn’t expecting and I couldn’t finish the second half of it. One friend called Shlomo and asked why everything was so spicy/hot, but whoever she spoke with didn’t have a precise answer. We couldn’t quite place the flavor of what had us burning up, either. It wasn’t jalapeño or habanero pepper … it was something even hotter. The friend who ordered the chicken sandwich said that his was the spiciest thing he’s ever tasted, and that’s saying something considering that he is from Louisiana and is very accustomed to Cajun dishes. He could eat only half of his sandwich, and I’m not sure my other friend finished even half of her own. This place’s menu has some interesting choices on its menu but I’m a little afraid to try anything from here again as I’m not sure I’ll get what I’m expecting. I’d probably have to watch what I’m ordering being prepared in front of me so as to be assured that it’s exactly what I want. Be careful when ordering via the phone or having a delivery sent. You may not get exactly what you want. However, my experience may be an isolated incident.

I went in on a Monday night on my way home from a long day at the beach. I got the Monday deal: «Buy one gyro get the second for $ 0.99» Total came out to just under $ 9. And damn, those gyros were STACKED with meat. The only annoyance I had was that it took about 20 minutes to get my gyros, but luckily I got to meet the owner George and he was good company while I waited. I’ll definitely be going back and trying one of their 12″ inch sandwiches; I’ve heard nothing but great things about them from friends.

Probably the worst lunch I’ve ever had. It took 30 minutes to get two sandwiches, both were wrong and one inedible. Frozen reconstituted chicken with the texture of plastic, I spat it out and gave up. Roast beef wrap had ham and one slice of beef, definitely not as described and not worth $ 10. I had heard great things about Shlomo’s and I’m upset that it was not as I was told. I’ll never return.

After multiple post-billiards revisits to Shlomo’s and trying 5 or 6 of their sandwiches, I’ve come to the conclusion that my favorite is their Italian Meat Lover Sub. Plenty of meat to satisfy the most carnivorous of appetites, and ample Italian flavor that will make anyone with a last name ending in a vowel feel proud! This is a big sandwich people, so be prepared to split it, unless you’re freaking starved. They put a ton of lettuce on there, so bring a Tupperware dish, scoop that nonsense in there and take it home for a Romain salad later. I rate this bad boy a 4.56 on my Italian sammich list, putting them at the top. I still haven’t found what I’m looking for(You can hate me for having U2 stuck in your head now), which is a rated-5 Italian!

All the sandwiches I’ve gotten at Shlomos have been very fresh, made to order, and of exceptional quality. One time he made fresh babaganoush right there in front of me for my sandwich. The falafel wrap is incredibly tasty, with fresh tahini, hummus, and parsley, and other fixings. It’s also lightly grilled which I love. There is a good selection including many vegetarian options, but also a lot for meat eaters. The Tripleta has bacon, chicken, cheese, and steak.(A vegetarian’s nightmare.) They have a really good craft beer selection, and wine too if you feel up to it. They have a daily special Monday-Friday from 4:45 to 6:45 for a 10″ sub that costs whatever the time of day is. A good deal, especially if you get there early. It can take a little bit long to get your order made, and that is my only negative. But it’s fresh and delicious!
