I have been eating at Harveys for over 20 years. Great food. Very clean restaurant.

I love Harvey’s, been coming here for years. The chicken salad sandwich (or sale) is my favorite. The roast beef is soooo tender. Marsha and the staff are extremely friendly. Oh, cater your home get together here as well.

The best roast beef sub around! Everything is fresh and made daily, great sub shop that has been serving quality food for over 20 years.

It gets difficult sometimes differentiating between one Cuban sandwich and another. Unless a place does something out of this world, then they all generally taste the same. That isn’t bad-​a standard Cuban is a good Cuban, but it’s not anything special.
Even though this was a standard Cuban here, I may have gone 4 stars, or at least rounded up from 3.5, if not for the pounding my stomach took after eating it. I don’t know if it was the Cuban that brought on the horrible cramps, but they did start to come on shortly after finishing it and «eat Cuban,» followed by «stomach pain,» probably means Cuban caused pain.
The place is a little sandwich shop on US19. You wouldn’t see it in the strip mall if you didn’t know it was there. I only found it thanks to Unilocal,of course. The inside is a bit drab, but not ugly or dirty. Very clean-​just plain. Owners are very friendly.
Menu is about as basic you can get (see the photo I posted), which isn’t bad if you want basic, but nothing fancy.
All in all, this is your classic mom and pop sandwich shop. Fresh, good sandwiches made with real ingredients and not whatever the chains use. A good place to stop if you just need a quick lunch passing through the area, but not anything to drive out of your way for.

I’m not sure what the other reviewers saw in this run down shop. I had the trio salad of tuna, egg, and chicken — bland and the tuna was that cheap dark fishy kind.
Someone else in my group had a Cuban — nothing to write about there. It was edible, but nothing special.
We also ordered and Italian sub — bread was semi stale and it also was bland.
I think this might be a step above Subway.

Really good mom and pop sub stop. I got the chicken salad croissant and my husband got the tuna salad croissant. We both loved it. And will come back next time we’re in the area.

Tried Harvey’s for a cuban and their potato salad to have with my daughter, who is here from Cleveland. We have always gone to a place in Tarpon for cuban. We were very happy with both the sandwich and the potato salad. Will be back.

This place is a gem! The subs are fresh, taste amazing and have a lot of meat. They have a big selection, I’ve had the Genoa, Cuban and Big Daddy, all of which were amazing. Staff is friendly and they remember you, which is a nice touch. Their Potato Salad is great! Highly recommend!

This is a small little mom and pop sandwich shop that you would never know existed but god knows I am determined to let the word out because it is that good. Literally. They slice all meats and cheeses carefully to order and have multiple sides to pair with your sandwich. Anywhere I go I usually need some type of extra sauce for my sandwich, so I ordered it but then I inhaled the sandwich after the first bite and didn’t need extra of anything! Except for the sides, Don’t pass up the cole slaw or potato salad for you will kick yourself in the ass later. Yes I said it, now get down there!

Excellent sandwiches. Cuban, egg salad and chicken salad (Big Bird) are some of our favorites.
The owners are so nice and the place is immaculate. Food is always fresh and the orange cake for dessert is great if they have it in. Highly recommended

I grew up in Palm Harbor and come here every time I’m home to visit. I always have to have a good Cuban sandwich when I’m in Fl and this is THE place for it in Pinellas County. I’ve tried others but they just don’t compare. They’ve got the leanest meat, delicious bread and amazing customer service. Very clean, great prices and they deliver. The only thing I regret is not trying their other items because the Cuban is so darn yummy!

BEST CUBAN IN PINELLAS! I love everything about this place… The sandwiches are fresh, the premises are spotless, and the owners are very friendly! The Cuban sandwich is the perfect size, priced right, and just tastes amazing… the bread and its contents are one of the tastiest sandwiches I have eaten in a while… you know this when you finish your sandwich before coming up for air! This place is a little gem. Glad we found it. The subs are fresh and delicious. The potato salad is really good. Reminds me of my mom’s.
Give this place a try. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

My family has been going to Harvey’s for years. The staff is so friendly — they always remember us and ask about our family. I almost always get take-​out (the inside is a bit small/​sterile), but the sandwiches are great and the prices very fair! All in all great place to go for sandwiches.

Mom and Pop place. Immaculate. Get the roast beef sandwich or sub. They aren’t fast, so I call ahead. The sandwiches are simple, but constructed beautifully so thy don’t fall apart as you are eating it. Order a roast beef sandwich! Trust me on this. Sad thing is, I don’t think anything else there compares. I have had their turkey, Cubans and meatballs which were all excellent. Tuna was marginal. If you like roast beef, sliced thin and on the rare side, you have found your spot!

I looovveee this place. The owners are some of the nicest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of encountering. My mailman couldn’t stop raving about this little hole in the wall sub shop and I had driven by the massive sign on us 19 daily for years I never thought to stop in. About a year ago while out running errands with my father we decided to stop in for lunch and see what all the chatter was about. It is located in a plaza where the Carabbas is in Palm Harbor and it doesn’t look like much when you walk in, kind of reminiscent of something you would find in Perry, FL. We ordered, he the meatball sub and I the BBQ chicken croissant both with their macaroni salad. The food came up quick (as it does everytime) and was fantastic! The perfectly marinated pulled chicken on the flaky croissant is hands down one of the only 2 ways I still eat chicken.(Seriously I have given up all meat and chicken, aside from this sandwich and one other at another local eatery) My father ate only half his sub as the size was more than he wanted for a late lunch and brought the other half home to my brother. My brother later that afternoon inhaled the half a sub only taking a minute to ask «Where did this amazing thing come from and is there anymore?» Even room temperature he was as pleased as we were. Prices are extremely low for the quality of the food and like I mentioned before the owners are phenomenally friendly. They remember me every time I go back in which always feels nice. Oh, and finally did I mention they deliver?!

We had Harvey’s deliver lunch to the house and it was really fresh.
We both had the turkey croissant with bacon, Swiss, lettuce, tomato and mayo/​mustard.
They PILE on the meat, which is a good thing. The bacon can be worked on. It reminded me of the pre-​cooked kind.
The Mac salad side was good too.

Amazing sandwiches, family run atmosphere, and courteous staff. I go to Palm Harbor just for this place. It’s a hidden jewel.

Great service, fabulous subs. Will buy these again and again!
