Very, very COOL store for house stuff. Pot, pans and everything else. Example, I bought bloody Mary mix here. Yep went here just to get mix. Very professional and friendly staff. If you’re ever in the area of El paseo, this is a must stop location.

I go there solely for their cheeses. They are delightful. Beautiful store but pricey!

Store is horrible. They have nice things, but the owners are extremely pretentious and obnoxious. We had a similar experience to the other review on here. They follow you around and act as though you’re going to break something. I think they need to remember they are in the service business. As cool as their things are, I would hardly spend one dime supporting them.

Terrible service. My family and I walked in and before the door even closed, the owner was in our face asking if our children knew not to touch anything in the store(mind you, our children aren’t that young anymore and have pretty good manners — not perfect kids but certainly not wild hooligans). He followed us around(as if he feared we were going to steal something). Made the experience extremely uncomfortable. About their selection of products, some were unique and interesting, but pricey. I would urge shoppers to consider a different store, like the Williams Sonoma across the street or other locations with better customer service, a better shopping experience, and more competitive pricing. The Upper Crust –crusty for sure, not a good thing.

Great store with everything a gourmet kitchen could use. Beautiful dishes, serving pieces and table décor. They have a great line of gourmet foods, including some under their own label. You must try the Horseradish cheddar cheese and the sesame ginger dressing… totally unique and wonderful. Very helpful staff… beautiful display of wonderful table serving ideas. Right on El Paseo… easy parking.

2÷2÷12 This is an absolutely fabulous store! I don’t know what Susie N was smoking when she wrote her review(sounds like there’s more to the story). The owners of Upper Crust, Steve and Doug and all their employees are warm, friendly and welcoming. We were thrilled with our purchases and extremely satisfied with the service we received on some items that had to be ordered. Everything was delivered in a timely manner on the exact date specified. In our book Upper Crust gets the highest marks for customer service. — Such a fun store with beautiful and different gifts. Be sure to stop in when you’re visiting the desert. There is never any pressure to buy anything.

Really cool store — part dining décor, part kitchen gadgets, and part specialty foods(both packaged and refrigerated perishables). Packaged foods included various Barefoot Contessa cookie and bread mixes, Paula Deen seasonings, and famous restaurants’ package mix baiking recipes. There were also lots of sauces, marinades, and spreads. It was upscale, but less expensive than the Williams-Sonoma across the street. There is a nice selection of cookbooks, too!
