Sonoran Suites of Palm Springs at Canterra

Could have been cleaner, and wasn’t happy with customer service

The hotel we thought we had booked for three night only had us for two on thanksgiving weekend. We had to find something fast for Friday night. We checked in at 1:00pm and the place is immaculate. We were upgraded to a three bedroom apartment for free without even asking! Perfect because the kids didn’t have to sleep on the couch. We read up on the property before booking so we knew it is an apartment with no lobby or local help, but the office in Arizona was very helpful and texted me back immediately ON thanksgiving. Great price for what you get. You would get ¼ of what you get in a regular hotel for the price. Very happy with our choice.

Planned for the entire family to stay here over Memorial Day Weekend. The room was filthy and was not cleaned for days… we took dozens of pictures of the filth. So they made a mistake on a reservation on one of the BUSIEST WEEKENDS of the year. We had to scramble for other properties and had to split the families to two different properties. Asked for a refund and they emailed
to give one. Two and a half weeks later, no refund, no follow-​up. I called
myself today and got it taken care of in 5 minutes over the phone.
I asked the sonoran suites REP to see if my first night stay would be covered by them several times and as no response yet… I’m betting that this request will be ignored.

sadly enough, even if the place was ready as promised, it would be classified as a 1 star property in my book.

2) Stay in trusted brands such as the HILTON or MARRIOTT properties.

This review is brought on by them charging 50 dollars to put some dishes in the dishwasher and clean up some empty pizza boxes left on the counter, what a scam!
When I first saw this place on the Internet I thought great, 3 bed suite for almost 300 a night not to bad. I should have known, you get what you pay for. Beds are so uncomfortable I woke up in the middle of the night with a back ache and had to sleep on the floor. It’s a little outdated and definitely needs to be remodeled.
Also I didn’t find out they didn’t have a front desk until this guy from Arizona to let me know, and when I called him back 5 minutes later it’s an automated recording that tells me is after hours, and I would need to press 1 for this and 2 for that, then brought me to another message that says to call another number.
Kids had fun in the pool, but they would have fun in a puddle! If was clean, but the flies were a pain.
I would recommend spending your money somewhere else.

it was joke! i will never stay with company again! i called them and asked them for help, with the cable and internet… make sure you never get room unit! 1512 nothing works!

it said you would have cable tv for your guest and wifi internet, none of this stuff was woking for me. i called you guys, was no help. so tell me where would you like me to watch tv then? the internet was not working at all! in the house. i had to use my own data that cost me money!
i will make sure i never book with your company! maybe your people should make sure your ameities are there for your guest!

Just stayed here and everything was great. Booked a 2 bedroom condo and to our surprise we got a 3 bedroom. The condo was well maintained and the community was clean and safe. Will definitely be back.
