Purvis Gallery of Design

After total shock and frustration at quoted prices from the old standby framing shops, we quite accidentally happened upon Purvis Gallery of Design in the Consign Design shop. I almost walked out… it looked so elegent, I was sure I would be quoted an even higher price. WRONG! Christy, a most delightful and enthusiastic lady, convinced me to hear her out and am I glad I did. She not only was most knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me with my choices, but I truly did not believe her when she quoted the prices! For my little project, I had been quoted all the way from $ 165 (with a supposed 60% discount) to $ 450. Christy’s price? $ 51!!! She made my day! What a joy to find such a pleasant surprise. Everyone who needs framing work done really MUST visit Christy first! I am a happy camper!

What a wonderful find. Located inside Consign Design, Purvis Gallery is an amazing little shop. Some of the best custom framing prices in the desert. About half of the «chain store» prices, even with the chain stores’ 50% off sales that seem to constantly be advertised. Wonderful selection of art, lighting, and small furniture pieces to complete your décor. We are now regulars here, because the inventory changes frequently, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is attentive, friendly, and they really go the extra mile to make you happy. Their main store is in Upland, CA, and while I have not been there, it is where much of the inventory is kept.
