When I originally met Gillian last year she mentioned that my posture at my work station might be responsible for achy shoulders and back. She offered a consulting visit for me to see what Pilates is about and how strengthening the core can help with poor posture and muscle discomfort. Frankly, at that time I could barely get through the afternoons in an upright position due to my weak muscles. After one or two sessions with Gillian, I found that I was feeling so much better, I decided to go for it and I’m so glad I did! My body has been looking more youthful and feeling much stronger since I started going twice a week for the last few months. And let me tell you about Gillian. She is a natural healer. Not only is she an experienced Pilates instructor but she has a very warm way about her and makes it fun, even though the bodywork is sometimes taxing. She is so in tune with you, she just knows when to urge you move beyond what you think you’re capable of, and when you have reached your limit for the session. She is intuitive, vivacious and a joy to work with. I hope to keep this up with Gillian as long as I can. I like my changing figure and just love her … as a teacher and as the kind, giving person she is. Give this a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Gillian is an amazing pilates instructor. She lives and breathes pilates and is such a kind person. I have been seeing her about 2 times a week for 3 months. I can’t believe I actually have abdominal muscles! The biggest thing she has done for me is to teach me how to stand and breathe. Sounds silly, but you really just need to go see her for yourself. I think she still offers the 3 sessions for $ 157 for first time clients, at least that is what I got on in December!
