We offer many different options to help you reach your goals from boot camps, personal training, TRX, kick boxing and our very own 6 week body transformation program, Fit in 42. Next Level Fitness was created to get results but also having a fun time doing so. Our trainers are all nationally certified and trained to get you superior results and support you on your fitness journey.

History

Established in 2006.

Next Level Fitness was founded in May of 2006 by brothers Casey and Gerry Washack. Born in New Jersey, the Washack brothers set sail to reside and open up a fitness facility to help others.

NLF started as a Personal Training Facility offering boot camp classes. Throughout the years our training options have evolved with the times and we now offer many different workout options from Boot Camps to 6 week body transformation programs, Fit in 42.

Throughout the years, we have helped thousands of people get in shape and change their lives making us among the most trusted fitness professionals in the desert.

I believe with the right dedication, work ethic, guidance and nutrition that your fitness goals can be reached. Being NSCA certified, I possess the knowledge of the human body as well as the proper techniques to improve your quality of life. I have been involved in athletics, nutrition and fitness for more than 10 years. When training with me I ask my clients to be ready to work but more importantly be ready to see results.

Founding Fit in 42 has opened up a passion in me that I did not know existed. My passion is working with clientele that absolutely are ready to make a change in their lives. Helping someone lose 5lbs is fun and I can do that for them. When someone comes to me at rock bottom, lost, tears in eyes and commits to me that they are ready to make a change in there life: That is what drives me. When you make the decision to change, I will be ready for you with arms wide open.

This is an outstanding organization. Gerry does a great job. The facility is in good shape, the programs are designed well and the people have an excellent attitude. Some gyms are staffed by snobbish arrogant body builders, but the people at NLF are down-​to-​earth, friendly and accepting of every member, regardless of their physical condition and no matter where they are in their fitness plan. Each routine has a modification for an easier version. A+

I signed up 6÷8÷15 for the advertise 21 day for $ 89.00. But after my second day on 6÷9÷15, I had a severely swollen and reinjured a previous surgically fix right knee. So I started swimming to try and regain the flexibility and decrease the swelling. I told the owner/​manager Gerry all this, and that I had a job, and I lived in a two story home, so I could not afford to lose use of my knees. I told him that I believed that his gym was just not for me, I just wanted to know if they could refund me part or all of my money as I had only gone to the gym for two days. He started telling me that I needed a personal trainer, that they were here to help people, I again reiterated my previous plea to him regarding my injury, and my need to rehab it. I told him I was a nurse, and knew what I need to do and what I had an injury. He did not know any thing about me, my age, my previous injuries, my weight… I told him he was unable to have an educated discussion with me regarding my injury, or ability to benefit from their gym. Again I ask him can I have a partial or total refund of my trial fee, as I only used two days of the introductory 21 day? He said NO!
I called back to try and speak to the other owner but to no avail. NO REFUND!!! Per Gerry Waszack manger and owner of next level fitness.
Beware of this next level fitness policy of You Sign up even for an introductory evaluation of gym, your trapped with no recourse! I’m grateful I was only signed up for instructory trial of gym, and no more! This is my only recourse to write this dissatisfied costumer’s –0 review, buyer beware of the fine print or no print!

Can’t say enough good things about NLF Palm Desert. Everyone is so welcoming, and encouraging! Not only that, but the classes are great as well. They will give you a great workout, without that intimidating «in your face» vibe. If you are looking for a new gym, I definitely would look no further!

This is more than a gym, next level fitness offered me a program based on my body type and fitness goals. Their fitness classes, including boot camp and TRX training are top notch. Their amazing and innovative fit in 42 program will take you in a journey of body and mind transformation. The trainers are full of positive energy and will push you to the max while making sure to maintain the correct form in each excersice. I love how the trainers and the owners lead by example, their fitness journeys are inspirational and great motivation to never give up. Joining next level fitness and fit in 42 program has been one of the best decisions I have made.

I just finished Next Level Fitness’s Fit in 42 program and it was more than I could ever have expected. I lost weight, inches, got a new mindset, got stronger and made some awesome new friends with people who really care about their health. A friend invited me to try a class at Next Level Fitness and I was skeptical about whether or not I could handle it but I was so impressed with how they pushed me and encouraged me while also making me feel welcome at the same time. I wasn’t at the same fitness level that some of the others were but I didn’t feel intimidated or like I didn’t belong. I definitely would trust them to take me that «next level!»

THIS IS NOT A GYM! It’s a total body and mind transformation center. Okay, gym is easier to say. I’ve been going for 3 months, 6 days a week. So take it from someone who has experienced their facility and staff. Every trainer goes the extra mile to help you achieve your goals. I’ve seen people lose 100 lbs or simply be able to do a push up for the first time (like me), they have it all covered. You will never be treated like a number. It’s a small family run business that is professional, personal and fun! I’m hooked! Thank you NLF!

This place is pretentious. I was a first time customer and I came in looking for a friend that invited me to a class and they took one look at me and said that well too bad because the class started two minutes ago and then they just stared at me. They didn’t ask me any questions like have you been here before? Are you familiar with our gym? Is there another class we can get you into? No they just stared at me like I was an idiot. I just said forget it! This gym I was told is expensive and if so they should treat new potentials like gold because now I will take my business elsewhere!

Next Level Fitness has truly earned it’s name as it takes working out to the next level. Not only are the trainers dynamic and helpful, the whole gym is full of positive energy. Classes are fun, yet challenging, and the trainers make sure to change up the workout EVERY time. Everyone motivates each other to do better and celebrates one another’s successes. I have been a member of this gym since September 2013, I started with the Fit in 42, and have lost a total of 65 pounds since that time. I absolutely love the bootcamp and kickboxing classes, they have a schedule that is convenient for everyone. the people at the gym, both members and trainers, are very welcoming to new people, its a very comforting, nurturing environment. and the personal trainers are tbe best in the Valley! whether you have 100 pounds to lose, or just want to improve your fitness level, there is something at this gym for everyone. I’ve tried several fitness programs in the valley and this is by far the best… i’ll never go anywhere else :)

We live in the Bay area and we were visiting Palm Desert for Christmas. We both have gyms we use at home so we were looking for a gym that would accommodate us temporally while we were in town. We talked to KC and he made us feel at home. My wife and i both worked out and we liked this gym more than the gyms we are members of at home. These guys really care and are super friendly. Great gym that that’s about to be even better as it’s just finishing up a major renovation. Great staff who know their stuff, push you hard, and get results. They offer you the complete system that you won’t find at most other gyms — workouts, meal plans, body and fitness measurements to track progress, and any other advice you’d need to see a real difference. Great for people of all ages and fitness levels. Very flexible schedule of classes.
I personally recommend some group or private sessions with Octavio Bustillos, although the other trainers also seem great.

We love Next Level Fitness! I have taken 2 Fit In 42’s at Next Level Fitness. When I was done with those programs, I tried taking classes at Gold’s gym and that just didn’t work for me. I signed up for the all-​inclusive classes with semi-​private training sessions at NLF. It’s an excellent price for the 12 month commitment. The classes wear you out (if you give your all) and you will get results! I love their Boot camp and Cardio Combat! The trainers are wonderful people and I have made some great friendships!

The team of trainers at NLF know what they are doing. LISTEN TO THEM! They helped me learn how to eat clean and train right. The programs they offer help people of any age and any size. My results from Fit in 42 were amazing — I shed fat, built muscle and changed what I looked like — my before and after pictures are awesome, but the reaction from friends and family was even better — overwhelming and very motivational. More than two years later I have maintained my body weight and feel great! I put in the work, but it is because Casey, Gerry, Ryann and all the NFL trainers gave me the tools to live a healthy fitness oriented life. I can’t wait to lose even more body-​fat, build muscle and simply live life!

This is the place to be if you want to be FIT and have lots of fun too. All the trainers are great and knowledgeable.
They have classes to fit everyones needs or one on one personal training.
I have visited lots of training places and nothing compares to this place. It really is like a big family. Everyone is caring and you feel good the minute you walk through the door. They have the Fit in 42 program, Cardio Combat, TRX and group training. Classes are all through the day so you can always find something to go to when you have time. I have always been a night person but I look forward to getting up at 3:45 am to be there by 5.
