History

Established in 2001.

Jackie Jacobson is a professional artist, originally from Chicago and classically trained as a figure painter. 12 years ago she brought her studios to the Palm Springs area, where she paints large scaled, brightly colored florals. Jacobson has been successfully showing her artwork at the College of the Desert Street Fair in Palm Desert, Saturdays and Sundays from October thru May. Tours of the Jacobson Art Studios are available by appointment

I love to paint.

The comments often heard about my recent paintings are, «What are they? Are they real? I think I can smell them!» The subject is the flower and exploding it gets it noticed.

I am most inspired by bold flowers. Exploring the similarity of the shapes and forms to human form, gives me the opportunity to show the world a view that usually goes unnoticed. Combining the newest digital mediums and my expertise with traditional mediums helps me to create images with a WOW.
