We specialize in guided hiking tours in the Coachella Valley and surrounding desert and mountain areas. We provide round trip transportation to the trailhead as well as water, snacks, and a waist pack to use while on the tour.

History

Established in 2011.

Hermit Hiking Tours began operations in the Fall of 2011. Owner/​operator Jeff B. began developing the business in 2010. An avid hiker, Jeff has created a business that provides a quality outdoor experience for the novice through expert hiker looking to experience hiking in the Palm Springs area.

In the Fall of 2012 Hermit Hiking Tours expanded, adding tour options, guides, and offering tours 7 days a week. Hermit Hiking Tours now offers hiking tour packages for groups of all sizes, including corporate retreat and conference groups.

Meet the Business Owner

Jeff B.

Business Owner

Jeff is the owner and Chief Guide for Hermit Hiking Tours. He has over 20 years outdoor experience in hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, and camping. He has logged hundreds of miles on trails in such places as Anza Borrego Desert State Park, Joshua Tree National Park, Death Valley, the Sierra Nevada, as well as Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. Jeff has extensive knowledge of the trails that surround the Palm Springs area and is able to provide a quality outdoor experience to his clients regardless of their trail skill level.

Jeff is also a fitness professional, serving as both a personal fitness trainer and physical education specialist during the past 20 years. His main goal is to create a positive outdoor experience for his clients by providing a safe, informative, and appropriately challenging hiking tour.
