We have a team of doctors both in Optometry and Ophthalmology focused on providing the most current medical standard of care. The practice utilizes advanced technology to make your experience easier as well as ensure the best medical care.

Our mission is to provide a high medical standard of care in an empathetic professional environment. We work to improve your quality of life through better eye care. We offer many services including the following: cataract surgical care, orthokeratology (corneal reshaping), dry eye, red eye, allergy medicated ocular inflammation, urgent care and general refractive care including glasses glasses and contact lenses. In addition we provide glaucoma treatment including surgery and specialty contact lenses for keratoconus, irregular cornea’s or synergeyes duette multifocal hybrid lenses.

History

Established in 1950.

In practice for over 50 years Evans Eyecare started in 1950 in a small town called Prince George. Dr. Ian Evans was the original doctor and he was followed in practice by his son Greg and daughter-​in-​law Alane. The practice relocated to Palm Desert in 1999. There are currently 4 physicians in the practice and provide specialty as well as general care.
