Just like many of the other Unilocalers have stated, the barista named Davion S(for the sake of identification I’ll say that he’s a black dude) is rude, incompetent and willfully neglectful in his duties. He never called my name or the beverages. I watched him make them and place them on the counter and he just let them sit on the counter for more than 10 minutes while he prepared all of the next drinks for other customers. If it wasn’t on purpose, he is just very bad at his job but there’s no way he could just keep making drinks and not once think to call out the name of the two frozen drinks that are still sitting on the counter right in front of him. When I asked him why he didn’t call them out or call my name out, he gave me attitude and said that he didn’t even make the drinks(he lied right to my face) and I told him that I watched him set the drinks on the counter, because he definitely did. He is incompetent and rude. And after all of that, he didn’t even make the drinks right, I asked for no sugar added powder and he made them with the sugared powder. I have to be very careful with my sugar intake and something like this is very bad. I will be filing a formal complaint with Coffee Bean customer relations.

I usually come here for my morning coffee routine. But this time I was a bit disappointed due to my coffee was not that good and the employees were rushing in a way made me felt like I need to get out the way so they can serve the next customer

Yummy coffee and even yummier churro toast! The barista was very helpful in the goodie selection and they made my ice blended perfect! Great place to people watch and very clean. Perfect place to stop after shopping or before dinner.

Friendly, nice staff, great location, nice patio and not as «who is who» as the Starbucks down the street. Everyone seems to just be here doing their own thing. The only downside is that they play their music, which isn’t very good and most selections totally inappropriate for morning consumption PLUS the outdoor mall music on El Paseo is playing too. Listening to «Valerie» and«Little Drummer Boy» is annoying, oh now«Superstition» and«Jingle Bell Rock», great.

I like the outdoor patio at this location. Lots of chairs and large umbrellas. The inside seemed a little small. Our cappuccino and latte were pretty good but noting to write home about.

Love this guys! Great coffee… They have almond milk!!! And they’re always super nice and efficient. Just wish there were more stores around so I would never have to go to a Starbucks.

Stopped in to grab a iced coffee. This was the first time I have tried Coffee Beans iced coffee and it was great! I also grabbed a jalapeño bagel which was also very good. Also love that they use smaller ice cubes, dont know why, but drinks seem to taste better to me that way. Overall it was very quiet inside, which made for a relaxing Monday morning. Also plenty of outdoor seating.

These guys are always awesome to me, whether I come in alone or for a nice drink with my husband – smiles and excellent customer service are always the order of the day. They’re even nice enough to fill my Starbuck’s tumbler with ice water for me, all the while still smiling, when I need it. Awesome people.

Coffee, tea, hot chocolate… everything I’ve had is awesome! I love the black forrest. I also love that you can sub milk for almond/coconut milk. They have a good deal on gift cards around Christmas time. Good quality coffee and tea. I wish they sold stock.

After waiting 10 minutes… They ran out of large hot cups, didn’t have any hot coffee brewed, they had no cookies or pastries. Then they messed up my latte after all. I asked for no foam with whip 3 times and she didn’t input it correctly. Worst CB in southern Cali

Always a good choice over the crappy«coffee» that Starbucks tries to sell. Espresso is hand pressed and not machine pressed like the green coffee shop. Staff is friendly, location is easy to get to and plenty of indoor or outside seating. Kid-friendly also with their coffee-free drinks.

Always a very good stop anywhere. Great chain for coffee and other food items. Nice location here, right on the shopping row area. I would return.

Usually come to this place a couple of times a week. Service has went down over the past few months and the coffee hasn’t tasted the best.

Second that one Mrs W. This place is Starbucks without the options and possibly even more of a rip off.

the only thing going for this place is the out-door seating. The beverages were GROSS, so much so that we threw them out. The bathroom was covered in god knows what and well, it just isn’t good. I guess given the choice it would be a Sbux kind of day for me.

I got three drinks for $ 10.85 beat that Starbucks. The flavor is so much better then you know who. People are friendly here. Just to forewarn you there is only one bathroom since this location is smaller.

I am no coffee buff, but even I know that when shopping on El Paseo Drive the best spot for coffee is the Coffee Bean. I ordered a hazelnut decaf smoothie for $ 4.25, a tremendous deal considering the quality. I personally despise bitter coffee flavor, but that smoothie tasted great. Don’t worry avid coffee drinkers, everyone else I was with loves their daily java. They came away just as satisfied.
