History

Established in 2012.

Wayne Overton owned and operated one of the leading countertop fabrication facilities in the northeast for 28 years. His old company Gilway Enterprises produced countertops for over 380 Home Depots as well as other stores including Lowes and Sears. Gilway was also hired by DuPont to produce many pieces using their Corian product for their ad campaigns. He relocated here and realized there was a need for a qualified countertop refinishing and repair business and started Surface Surgeon. A company completely dedicated to repairing and refinishing countertops. We specialize in DuPont Corian countertop repairs.

Meet the Business Owner

Wayne O.

Business Owner

Wayne has been involved in the construction since 1974. He was general contractor for several years before opening a wholesale countertop company. He got involved with Dupont Corian in 1985 and became one of a hand full of wholesale fabricators serving the New York market. Wayne also has a creative side and has produced many one of a kind pieces using Corian. Several of these pieces have been photographed and have been used in magazine ads. Wayne is in his 30^th year of being a countertop specialist.
