We specialize in exotic Caribbean cuisine. Our jerk seasoning, curries, hot sauces and other special rubs are all made from scratch. That is why it’s been proven we have the best oxtails, beef pot roast, jerk chicken, jerk pork, curried chicken, stew pork and brown stew chicken in town.

Our seafood menu consists of Salmon, Tilapia, Snapper and King Fish, all prepared to your liking and served with pigeon peas and rice, or homemade mash potatoes and a salad. Our fish sauces are walnut butter, kiwi, pineapple/chili or escovitch topping.

Our most popular vegan entrees are… jerk tofu, curried eggplant with raisins, collard green fritters and veggie rice.

From the very first bite out of Montego’s, the flavor explosion will be more than enough to surpass your expectation long before you can say «wow.»

This small place was perfect! It’s such a hidden gem. The jerk chicken was amazing with some rice and peas! The meat was tasty and very thick. The customer service was excellent and quick. For a quick lunch this place is priced well at 5.99 you get decent portions.
I would strongly recommend this place when you have a chance. The food kept reminding me of my trips Jamaica which was amazing.

Great food for a great price. If you like hot sauce that’s actually HOT, theirs hits the spot. I even bought a bottle to go. $ 6 for big bottle, $ 3 for little. They give you enough food & you can’t beat their prices, very reasonable for good Caribbean cuisine.

It was my first time trying Caribbean food, and I was very impressed. The curry chicken was fall off the bone, and had an amazing flavor to it. My five year old daughter also loved it, and ate most of my chicken and rice.

I stumbled on this place for lunch, and what an awesome surprise!
First, the restaurant is quiet and semi formal, with cotton tablecloths. Looking around, they have decorations (and advertising) that is genuinely Caribbean. You feel like you’ve been transported!
THEN, I ordered the pulled pork Salad, and it was FANTASTIC! One of the most delicious and original salads I’ve ever had in my life– just try one, and you may be blown away, like I was.
Instead of red-stripe beer (after all-it WAS lunch), I decided to have the fruit punch. The waitress suggested I have a 50 – 50 mixture of punch and ginger-beer, and WOW! That was amazing also, and it came in a big old glass (with little ice).
I’ll be back!

Came here on Friday night after a hectic week.
The couple who own this place was the best thing I would expect here. They are amazing and welcoming.

Great place for lunch! We had the fruit punch (very rich, authentic jamaican staple) with oxtail and curry chicken. Both very good. Oxtail was tender and flavorful and curry had just the right amount of kick. Both dishes came with rice and peas (also authentic, love it) and cooked cabbage. Portions for the price were very good. Good service and atmosphere (at least for the location). Loved the 80’s and 90’s top 40 they were playing. I will definately be back!

Visiting from California. Initially wanted to order oxtail but there wasn’t any so we ordered jerk pork and curry chicken with white rice/lentils and cabbage. Both very tasty. Décor is very cute and we had nice mellow reggae music in the background.
If I’m ever in the area again, I’d come check it out again!

Montego’s Café is as good as eating in a charming, tropical paradise restaurant in Jamaica. I haven’t been there for a long while and the food, atmosphere and friendly dining experience were great. The smoked turkey soup, jerk chicken and rice with peas were perfectly spiced. We will be back.

What a great find! We happened by here for lunch after trying to find some other place. The food was delicious. The three of us each had a lunch plate consisting of an entrée, rice, and cabbage. We tried the Chicken Curry, Jerk Chicken, and Oxtail — all were fantastic. Soup of the day was an equally delicious chicken soup.
The slightly sweet fried plantains made a nice side and were a pretty generous portion. If you like spicy, try the hot sauce (made with several different types of chiles) and the Ginger Punch — both were tasty and very spicy.

The ox tail was great. Even the fat was flavorful, like the cartilage bits in a good phở. The jerk chicken is smoked prior to being seasoned — we almost bought another order to take home. If you like spicy, get their fire sauce. They also sell bottles to take with you.
