Vic’s Tree Care

Not sure if this guy is in business as he hasn’t returned any of my messages — I have moved on to Tree Nanny in Union City — one phone call and they are coming by tomorrow to give me quote!

Vic’s Tree care is by far the most reasonably priced tree removal service in northern Hudson county. I got 4 bids and his came in significantly under the other three. He is very personable and logistics were made easy (I appreciated the communication via text as opposed to incessant calls).
Still waiting on a receipt that should have been mailed to me a couple weeks ago now but other than that, no complaints.

We have used Vic’s Tree Service twice and have been been pleased with the results each time.
Vic took the time to listen to us and what our objectives were in our tree service. We wanted to let more sunlight into our backyard to eliminate the shade that seems to be causing the proliferation of mosquitos. Vic took this information and even suggested removing another tree that was growing THOUGH the fence at the back of our yard. We didn’t even realize that tree was there, but removing it allowed a significant amount of additional light into the back yard.
Vic and his team were extremely professional and did a great job of cleaning up, much more so than other contractors we’ve used. If not for the fresh saw marks on the trees, you wouldn’t have even realized they were there.
Oh yeah, it’s also just plain cool to see the guys climibing up the trees and gently lowering the bain of your existence. gently in the back yard and then feeding it into their machine to be turned into dust.
We used another tree professional shortly after we moved in. They destroyed the top step into our back yard and didn’t even bother to acknowledge it. Eventually we got $ 100 taken off the bill, but we had to make a stink about it. If they had explained the issue, and even explained it, we might have been okay with it, but to simply destroy the step and then leave without saying a word was unacceptable. Vic’s team is very professional. We had no issues whatsoever and he is fully insured.
I highly recommend Vic and his team of tree professionals. We will definitely look to them in the future.
