History

Established in 2011.

We strive for the best technical training for students ranging from ages three through adult in all styles including ballet, jazz, contemporary lyrical, tap, hip hop, as well as our competitive dance team (Jagged Edge Dance Company). Through a fun filled and structured class environment The Edge Dance Academy is determined to make every dancer the best they can be no matter if dance is a fun after school activity or a desired career path.

Business Owner

Kimmy’s desire to create unique choreography and teach technique to the next generation inspired her to begin Jagged Edge Dance Company. Within the last few years her contemporary-​lyrical choreography has been regionally and nationally recognized with several awards for best choreography, most technical dancers, highest overall score, Jules Stone High Score as well as many first place finishes. The collaborative work between Kimmy and her sister has also been recognized for best choreography and overall high score, in addition to the prestigious Richard Disarno’s director award. Kimmy is extremely excited to be co-​owner of The Edge Dance Academy, and cannot wait to begin helping young dancers discover their passions and reach the potential next level in their careers.
