Harry’s is the auto repair shop of a bygone era. Honest and competent mechanics — Ken and Twinkletoes (Ken’s sidekick) — whom you can joke with while while they work on your car. Best of all, they use high quality replacement parts with an outstanding parts warranty. The best rating I usually give out is a 4-​star rating. Thus, the fact that I gave Harry’s a 5-​star rating should speak volumes.

Ken is a GODSEND. Once you meet him you will already be able to tell that his is a Great and HONEST mechanic. A combination that is rare in my experience. I was considering buying a car from one of the dealership near that area and I didn’t want to make any purchases without having the car inspected. I called ken the morning i was going to the dealership and he was nice enough to open up a little time in his busy schedule to inspect the car for me. While he was doing that he gave me some helpful tips and suggestion with buying a car and taking care of one. He also tried to find out if there was a better deal elsewhere so i could use that as a bargaining chip to use on the car salesman. My experience with ken was so good that will I will travel from Chicago to his garage to get my car service. IT might sound crazy to you readers but trust me when i say there is nothing like a GOOD AND HONEST mechanic. I’m telling you that a rare combination in my experience and his prices are FAIR as well, so that’s pretty much the cherry on top of the whip cream.

There’s nobody else I’d even consider taking my car to — these guys are the absolute best in every way — price, turn around time, no upselling, honest as the day is long — I truly can’t say enough to praise Harry’s! Ken and company, you guys are all THE BEST!

It’s nice to know business like Harry’s still exist. Ken did wonderful brake work on my car, and I couldn’t be happier. His prices were way better than the dealer, and he didn’t try to up-​sell me on work that didn’t need to be done. I’ll be bringing my car to Ken from now on.

Harrys on Rand is the best. I started bringing my cars here after a very positive experience as a walk in based on an internet search. Me and my family have been bringing our cars in ever since. Ken, who runs the place has always been honest, straightforward, attentive and fair. I recommend Harrys to anyone looking for a mechanic in the NW Suburbs.

I lucked out finding this shop. They fix things right the first time, and they are quick about it. Ken is very friendly and explains things well. I always leave the shop having paid less than I was expecting. Affordable, friendly and fast!!!
