Great price and beyond excellent service.
I had some tree limbs/​branches fall on my front lawn after that blizzard a couple weeks ago. I left Chris a voicemail this past Saturday and he showed up at my house probably within the hour. I was shocked at how quickly he arrived — I would definitely use him and his crew again!

Absolutely great company. Chris is a true tree whisperer! Cabanas’ quote was most reasonable and they showed up on time. Chris truly cares about trees and helping his customers achieve their goals. I plan to use Cabanas on annual basis to make sure I properly preserve my trees and landscaping.

Chris does good work and is trustworthy. Came out on a weekend after a recent storm. Lots of damage in town but Chris took the call came out and took care of the relatively small issue.

HUGE disappointment! We hired him to remove 2 trees and 3 stumps. He comes on Saturday (7−26−14) saying that he would like cash so he could pay his guys. I should have known better. While he did come and take down the trees and remove the stumps. He however left ALL the wood in our parkway! HUGE pieces!!! He said he would send someone back on Tuesday to remove the rest of the wood. The first time I called he called back and said he would be there and this is not how he does business. A week and half later NO one has shown up and now he won’t return our calls. Don’t waste your time! He was recommended by another mom I know. Needless to say I will be sharing my experience with all the clubs and groups I am a part of. Severely lacking in customer service…

Was very pleased with Chris and his crew. Polite, professional, and very personal. We had a 50+ year old tree taken down… did an excellent job at a very reasonable price and cleaned up my yard before leaving. Since then 2 neighbors have used Chris and we have referred him to 3 of our friends. Cabanas is a small company and Chris handles all the scheduling and phone calls… sometimes they get busy so be patient and if your job is time sensitive (ie…storm damage) let him know so he can plan accordingly! Keep up the good work Chris!

fantastic job, great price the best of numerous quotes! the guys were very professional, quick, clean, and went about and beyond. they did take a chance showing up a day early because their other job was rained out, but luckily we made the schedule work and we couldnt be more pleased with cabanas!!! will def. use them again if we ever need tree or landscaping

The best price out of 4 quotes and his price included trimming of the nearby trees (in addition to the removal of 2 very large trees). Christian was friendly and honest and I would recommend them to everyone in need of tree services.

Christian is great! Trustworthy, and knowledgeable, great pricing. Has already taken down three trees for me and more to come. Get a quote I think you will be impressed. He cleans up so well its like a tree was never taken down.

chris (the owner) never return phone calls nor show up when he is suppose to. makes up all kinds of excuses. very unreliable! not the first time. believe me go with someone else like i did. it will be worth it in the long run.

These guys are pros. He came buy at 10am to survey job gave me a great price. Had his crew over at noon and in an hour 3 big trees gone. one was very close to my house and neighbors house they took it down w/​ease. took out my stumps, cleaned up my yard. Christian is great, highly recommend him!

I can’t review their actual work, because they never showed up!
My husband scheduled an appointment and not only did NO ONE show up at the appointment time but after calling and leaving messages, no one has called us back either.
Disappointed at the severely lacking customer service.

I called Christian on Sunday to do some more work for me, and he was out here on Tuesday, He and his crew are extremely knowledgable, efficient, and hard-working…not to mention very affordable. He is very trustworthy in his suggestions and truly cares about his work. I can’t say enough about Christian and his company. I have tried several other tree/​landscaping services in the past and I will never use anyone else!

I called Chris from Cabanas Tree Service based on Solitaire and Linda’s reviews to trim our large maple tree in the front yard and to trim my father-in-law’s maple tree too, who lived next door. As stated by the ladies, Chris was very reasonably priced, seemed to be knowledgeable, fair and honest and was insured too, so we hired him.
I had asked him to come out at a certain time on a Monday due to a scheduling conflict that my father-​in-​law had, but he arrived 2 hours earlier. I think we misunderstood each other. So his crew worked on my tree 1^st and while they had to wait to do the other tree, I asked if they could trim my shrubs too. They did a wonderful job on both trees and ended up trimming the shrubs next door too! His crew was very polite and cleaned up the yard very nicely.
I would definately hire him again and would highly commend Chris to others. Not only does he trim trees and shrubs, but he does landscaping too for a very reasonable price. Although, I would not use the phone number listed for his office 847−221−2163. It is an old number, which no longer belongs to him and needs to be changed on Unilocal.He now uses his cell phone number, which is listed in the phone book as 847−875−4702.

Based on Linda K’s review, I hired Chris for firewood and to take a look at my trees as well. He was reliable – came to my house with the delivery, on time as promised, and was a great deal to boot!
I was completely confident that he was an honest, knowledgable and hardworking individual. I would definitely recommend (as a matter of fact I did and another neighbor also purchased a load of wood from him and was very pleased) and would use him again.
I also had him take a look at my trees and provide me with an estimate. He was clearly very well-​informed and educated (he is a certified arborist) and he obviously cared that I was happy with the work they did. He explained everything up front, and walked me through it all afterwards. No hidden charges (he actually did MORE than what he’d promised in the estimate).
I would definitely recommend.
P. S. I had hired another service (Beaver Tree) who came out and provided an estimate at the end of October and promised time and time again to come and do the work. After being put off three times over six weeks, I figured enough was enough. Chris came on Friday, did the estimate and did the work on Monday.
