Resident. Semi-​regular customer. IGNORED by snooty sales girl until we dared touch the apparently forbidden «back stock». Would love to swear off Mahina for life but… that’s about as realistic as swearing off Costco or Macy’s. However… thoroughly disappointed and offended. Temporary self-​ban enforced. Not like they’d notice. But it’s the principle! Or something…

As a Maui resident, I visit theor local stores infrequently and am usually content to browse on my own without assistance. I do draw the line at negative assistance such as was the case today. My friend and I were completely ingnored until we — God forbid– looked in the «backstock» drawer. Well we wouldn’t have had to if we had been attended to… And there was no need to be so rude (read BITCHY), about it either. Fyi — all your stock was NOT out on display. We left without a purchase and will think twice about returning long while!

Cute women’s clothing, jewelry and bags at reasonable prices! I really enjoyed the fashion in here… Not too crazy but enough to stop and stare at someone wearing their clothes (in a good way).

This is a must see in the cute, unpretentious, hippy dippy town of Paia — I love this area of Maui! I stumbled into the Mahina boutique and was surprised to find a wide variety of sexy, cute, comfortable, breezy, feminine clothing at astonishingly affordable prices. I picked up a beautiful white beach cover up. I was helped by Rachelle, who is an absolute doll! She knows the store very well and can help you find exactly what you’re looking for. She was so helpful and had a fantastic attitude, so that’s why I vote for Mahina to be my favorite clothing store in all of Maui. Mahalo!

This Botique is as cute as a button! I came across this Botique when I decided to spend a day in Maui (while vacationing in Oahu). I didn’t expect to find Pai’a such a cute town! I was just gonna go to the fish market to grab some Poke.
Back to the Botique, they have such cute stuff but still very reasonable price! Most of the stuff they have, I have not seen anywhere else, and trust me, I frequent botiques when i travel. When I got there around 7, I don’t have much time left to look around since I have to catch a flight at 9p and still have to drive to the airport and return my rental. I browse really quick and found some treasures right away! I bought a blue maxi dress, just like the dress that Rihanna wore on her video for «stay». I paid 15 for a pretty dress! I also got a neck lace that had the word «love» on it in cursive ad bought a ring that has the word «love» on it to match. I spent less than $ 40 for everything! I was pretty happy with my purchase!
This Botique is so cute, so organize, very reasonable and has really great items! Must visit if you’re in Pai’a!

It was like walking into someone’s closet! That’s really the best way to describe it. So much clothes, color coordinated, and jam packed into one place. Best place to go and find an outfit for any occasion. A Must See!

really cute outfits! i was shopping in paia .and paia being so small, i didn’t hadn’t realized that mahina was actually a small chain of boutique clothing stores (there’s another lahinana). they carry women’s clothing, accessories, and shoes only.
the space is very comfortable but surprisingly they have a pretty extensive and coordinated collection without feeling claustrophobic.
most of their outfits are dresses and tops with a beachy feel *wispy, light colored * but they have a few edgier outfits as well.
prices are «reasonable» for a touristy town. dresses range from $ 30+. they have a clearance section in the back but most were too large for me.

Something for everyone! Very friendly and warm staff! A place for locals and visitors. Not like some of the other boutiques that wouldn’t even give us a look! Bright and airy! Fragrant and fresh! A cozy escape from the heat on the street!

Trouble is spelled Mahina. This place+me=aloha money.
There are cute dresses galore, accessories EVERYWHERE (I died and went to heaven), great discounted shoes, awesome hand bags… and accessories. Everywhere. Cheap. Sparkly. Holy cow.
The prices here are really reasonable, which makes this spot even better. You’d think that when surrounded by marked up, touristy driven prices they’d want to compete. But they keep it real here, which ultimately made me want to spend more. SMART! Check this: I bought 2 bracelets, a ring, an adorable shirt (that I get a ton of compliments on) and a pair of platform shoes for only $ 100 total. With tax. Holla!
The woman working that day we were in, who’s name I can’t remember, was super kind and gracious. She had lived in California as well, so we were chatting up a storm. I appreciated here eagerness to help.
I would gladly return here again and spend even more money next time.

Brightly-​colored, very well priced dresses and blouses. Fun!

Oh wow… the minute I walked into the store, I knew I was in trouble. The adorable dresses… really reasonable prices. I knew I was about to do some retail damage!
I seriously want to buy every single dress in the store! Most of them cost $ 40 range and for the quality of the clothes, it’s a pretty good deal. They also have fun accessories, jewelry and bags. So far it’s my favorite store on the island! I’m so so glad they have 2 on Oahu!

When my boyfriend and I stopped in Paia before continuing our adventure on the Road to Hana, the desire to have an all-​day visit in the San Francisco-​esque town was almost too strong. I started begging my boyfriend to slow his driving to a crawl so I could peek into the shop windows. We went back two days later and I could hardly contain my excitement.
Mahina was not the first shop I came across, but the impression really left a massive print in my shopper’s heart. It was the original store that I visited, and of course it had to be the coolest and most inviting of all the ones I’ve passed by or browsed in. It truly compliments the coolness of the town it’s in – a nice size for a boutique, rustic and chic in it’s interior, clothes and accessories that say, «Ya I look awesome but I’m not even trying.» It’s like being in a store on Height and Ashbury, but with an unmistakable, laid back Hawaiian vibe.
This boutique, as chic as it looks, definitely has aloha spirit. Their customer service is excellent, and they’ve shown me great care in resolving an issue back on the mainland. Whenever I am back in the islands, I will be visiting them, and I cannot wait till their online store is up and running. I know it’s going to be just as cool as the original.

This review is for all Mahina stores I’ve been to: 2 in Maui and 1 in Oahu. They are all equally as great! Always new stuff coming in… unique digs, too. Love their dresses, tops, shoes and especially the jewelry! You’ll find pieces here you won’t find anywhere else… especially on the mainland. Love how they have different prints and styles, and plenty of colors too!
Whenever I’m here I grab a few pretty numbers for my friends, fam and coworkers, and of COURSE I grab lots for myself, too! This is just what Maui needed, seriously. Cute, breezy, fun fashion that’s totally NOT Forever 21. Quality boutique and totally affordable! Try it… you’ll like it!

Why did I have to find this place on my LAST day on the island??? I could’ve been wearing the cutest dresses the whole time! Amazing selection and unreal prices. Hands down the best little dress store on the island. I just wish I didn’t eat so many cheeseburgers: S

Very cute fashion boutique! Similar to some in Los Angeles!
They have a great selection of various items from bandeau tops to long maxi dresses and heels! The jewelry is SO cute and very reasonable as well.
I would definitely recommend this shop to fashionistas who want some cute little outfits!

Mahina’s been around Maui for 10 years. That’s no accident! Girls grab the hottest island fashions there without breaking the bank in a mellow environment. I love going in there and seeing all the beautiful smiles and happy customers. Why because the owners are there making them happy. One magical boutique! No filler all killer!
