Welcome to D… is for Dog, a cage free holistic pet grooming salon dedicated to the special needs of your pet. Our philosophy is that every pet is an individual… just like you. While providing top quality grooming and styling services is a priority, we also look at the whole pet, beyond just the hair, and stress the importance of building a relationship with your pet in a safe and comfortable environment. In our grooming, we strive for a look that is both natural & elegant but due to our harsh climate we do understand & honor requests for close clips. We do offer hand-​stripping, carding & coat restoration in addition to hand scissoring. We also offer a variety of deep moisturizing conditioners and exfoliating treatments.

At D… is for Dog safety is first. Proof of current rabies vaccination is required, although, we do accept titering. We will happily accommodate aggressive & special needs pets but ask that you call ahead so that we can make your appointment at an appropriate time.

History

Established in 2007.

D… is for Dog is the result of a lifelong passion for dogs. We believe in and advocate balance, holistic care and natural healing. We are located in the beautiful Calvada «eye» area. We believe that both you and your pet will love our salon as much as we do! Designed to be both comfortable & intimate, we hope to be adding you to our client list soon.

Business Owner

Charity Perry has been working with pets for over 25 years. She began her career with dog training at the age of 11 using the koehler method and has transitioned to operant conditioning during the last decade. Charity has been grooming pets throughout that time but began doing so professionally in 1990. Prior to opening D is for dog, she managed a corporate salon in Las Vegas for 5 years. Charity is a certified master stylist and a member in good standing of both APDT & NDGA
