Single origin beans being lightly roasted in small batches… by the owner… who happens to love his job as much as he loves coffee, makes this place an easy 5 star coffeehouse. I stopped in here for a latte and had a great experience… and a world class drink. I chatted with the owner and his love and passion came through as he talked about the type of roast he feels makes the best coffee, had the grind of beans effect the cold brews, and how he feels his expresso machine creates perfect espressos. I was so caught up in his passion, I bought a cold brew for the road and a bag of beans for home… and I am so thankful I did. I have brewed his coffee these past few morning and have been so impressed that I may just take a drive when I run out so I can pick up more!

Incredibly friendly owner, really fun, and GREAT drinks. Love their Irish breakfast tea and hot chocolate. Really cute location in the old Coca Cola plant, too, with a hip, urban vibe. Definitely recommend stopping by for a cuppa or two. :)

Stopped by early Saturday morning, and it was obvious that this place is popular with locals. Housed in an Art Deco building, this contemporary café has good coffee with a limited selection of baked goods. Our cappuccino’s we’re excellent. We normally order Americanos but the barista new his stuff so we indulged.

Have you ever felt that disappointment when a spot’s ambiance is better than its food or drink? You will not feel it at Piper’s, which is located in the hip, historic Coca Cola building. The baristas are legit and know their s — .Bobby concocted an off-menu item to meet my mood and taste. The only negatives are the parking and seating aren’t ADA-friendly. On good days, I plan to bring a sandwich(because they don’t serve food) and savor every moment in Paducah’s best coffeehouse.

If you love Art Deco design and/or good coffee or chai you will be in absolute heaven here. This is a lovely coffee shop with excellent service, in an amazing historic building. I don’t live in Paducah, but I pass through a few times per year on my journey from NC to Southern IL and back. I would come here all the time if I lived here!

I’ll be honest, I was prepared not to like this place. From the painfully hip setting to the barista’s pretentious explanation of the process of making my coffee — which involved no less than four suppressed eye rolls from me — everything about Piper’s begged me to make fun of it. And then I tasted their coffee. It is the most delicious coffee I have ever tasted. I owe everybody there an apology, even though they didn’t hear my mocking inner dialogue. Instead, I’ll just give them all my money.

Imagine a coffee shop in the heart of Seattle, with an exciting environment, the highest quality ingredients, and great people who know the science behind everything they create for their customers. Then take this coffee shop and throw it in the historic Coca-Cola bottling plant in downtown Paducah, KY. Add some British slang and some high quality loose leaf tea, and you’ve got yourself a winner! For something you can’t find elsewhere, try the Turkish coffee, the Kevlar coffee, or their iced coffee(gotta be twice as potent as anything else). Recently, the«long black» has become my favorite. Every drink here has a story, and it’s the perfect environment to listen to these stories!
