Established in 2006.

In late 2006, Sam Bridges made the decision to take his 20 years of process safety experience and launch a full-​service risk management consulting firm to provide great service at affordable rates. From the very beginning, Bridges Risk & Loss Control has provided its clients with expert service at the right price. And it’s not simply a motto; it’s Sam Bridges’ personal commitment to our clients.

Business Owner

As a Chemical Engineer, Sam possesses a strong industry (corporate-​level and plant-​level) and consulting background. He has worked in the process industries for over 20 years. Most of his career has been and continues to be focused on process safety engineering. For 17 years, he led the process safety efforts at a major multi-​national chemical company having held both corporate-​level and plant-​level positions. Sam has direct experience in developing and implementing PSM, RMP, and innovative process risk management (PRM) systems for chemical manufacturing facilities. He also has extensive experience leading Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), having led hundreds, including design-​stage/​project PHAs, initial PHAs and PHA revalidations for a wide array of chemical processes. Sam is a certified ISO auditor and has also conducted dozens of PSM/​RMP audits. He has a thorough understanding of process safety regulations and best industry practice and helps clients comply with such requirements.
