We can also buy all of the above mentioned items. Most people have sold all their gold that they really didn’t like or want by now. What makes us different from all the gold buys is that fact that we can give a loan to people that have valuables they don’t want to sell. Our loans are for 4 months and we have 96% of the people reclaiming their valuables.

History

Established in 1996.

In June of 1996 we leased our current location that was abandoned for 4 years and used to be a liquor store and started our licensing process. Took us about 4 months to obtain our Pawn/​loan licences from the city of Los angeles and California State Pawnbroker LIcense. I started by myself as a sole proprietor working for 70 hours a week and grew to 6 full time employees now and have a second location in Pasadena called Diamond Jim’s Pawn on Lake Ave where we employ 3 others.

Few years ago we needed more room so we leased our next door available unite and expanded.

We believe in treating each of our customers as an individuals and being fare to them so we can establish a long term relationship. We keep our stores clean and nice.

Graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management in 1994 already wanting to be a Pawnbroker. Visited many pawn shops in lots of cities and states and picked up the idea that the clean shops always looked more professional. My family has always been a business owners and I was taught to always treat them with respect.

Now, many years later it believe it’s proof that it worked. I love this city and the people in it and as proof after all these years I can say they love me to.
