I tried this place and twice :(
I’ve been disappointed by Kim (The owner) the two times. Kim seems not to care much about the reputation of her bussiness. She does an awesome job but there is no professionalism or respect for the client and the appointments don’t
mean anything to her. I am very disappointed but I guess having a very bad experience back on my birthday and after all giving her nail shop a second try was my mistake.

Nah. Lady made my nails bleed and got gel top coat on my skin. $ 32 with tip for gel with two design. The manager said it’d take 25 minutes max but it took 40 ish so I was late coming back to work (but that was on me). In a shopping mall.

I visited this place thrice. The last time was on my birthday. I got a pedicure and acrylics, but right when I was getting my acrylics a random lady started fighting with the owner (the wife) and the owner and the lady used me as a translator so they could talk trash to each other. Lmao what a birthday!
Oh well aside from that nails were bad and the man who was doing my nails (owner/​husband) had a bad attitude.

Ok, so we went back to get fills and they were completely rude. I was so shocked because we had such a good first experience with this business. My daughter was very disappointed. I had called all day for those two days prior trying to find out if we could make an appointment. They laughed when I told them that and then they said come back later they’re too busy. We will not be back we found a new nail salon

Kim and Kevin are the best. Come in with a great attitude and you’ll get great service. I’ve been going here for 3 years now and they have built the selection and look of the shop and I love it. She also does and awesome job waxing. Love you Kim!

This is the far worst place ever! if I could I would give them a negative star! I walked in today with my niece and daughter and it was busy so she told us an hour wait. When another customer came after us 15 min later she told her 15 min wait. Suddenly the rude owner got in front of my daughter and said «your using my chairs and the customers think I’m full when your not getting anything done.» I got up and told her if we’re taking up her chairs then I can wait outside and she does not need to speak to my daughter in that way nor speak in her language since it was rude and unprofessional. So we just got up and left. So this is by far the trashiest place I’ve been too! Go to Pico Nails their 10x’s better!

I went to K&K nails because my boyfriend was getting a hair cut down the street. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this nail shop. First time there Kim was super friendly and revived my nails. Make Your Appointment With Kim! She’s Awesome. She Specializes in Acrylics and makes them look natural. I wouldn’t recommend coming as a walk in because they only have four workers and you’ll be there forever. Appointment is the only way to go. :) On top of that the prices are affordable.

I’ve always liked the way they did my nails but since I guess I look young and I’m not a frequent costumer they made a new guy to my nails and did a terrible job two days later my nails had fallen off and I had to re glue them and once again the next day 2 others fell off total being 4 I got there at 10 being the first one and Kim didn’t do my nails I was there till 1 the guy didn’t even know how to do acrylic nails I was not happy and also he was telling me relax my fingers and to relax and at one point Ido he might of got mad and he cut me really bad taking off my extra skin

So I have lived in pacoima for almost 7 years now. And I have been going to k&k nails for about 4 years I love Kim’s designs and her willingness to accept my crazy nail request. Ken has an amazing eye for nail sculpting and also Kim’s delicate touch on my pedicures. Is amazing. The place is small and always so busy… time is needed as well as an appt. But it is all worth it.

These people have no sense of customer service! I gave this place two chances, and both of those times they had a long wait and they were rude! they rushed everything my nails looked terrible I wish I would’ve gotten my money back ! Never again.

Hate it here. I would only come to get pedicure, but won’t be coming any time soon. The last time I came in the lady did them super quick and it was PAINFUL!!.
My toe after became really sore and I even grew a ball of puss by my big toe nail.

I went in for a polish change and was seen right away which is a plus… the lady who was taking care of me was working fast which I didn’t mind at first… BUT I soon started noticing as she was applying the nail polish its was lumby… I decided not to make it a big deal since it was one nail… BUT once I got to my car I also noticed it was a few other nails… also I still had pieces of nails she filled down still hanging from my nail :/​more like chunks… things I liked was that they have options to chose from (gel polish) And seem like respectful people… now well I go again??? Idk… maybe… maybe I’ll give it one more try

as compared to other places. Not too pushy on the upgrades and otherwise very fast service. No wait with an appointment. Nobody takes appointments I was lucky to get one. Also they had 4 workers, not bad. The pedicure starts at 15 dollars, they skipped the massage but otherwise a good scrape. Clean warm towels to dry and they let me enjoy the «back massage chairs as long as I wanted or until it was time to get my first full set installed. Full set only $ 20. Parking was great.
I think I could live without the chemical smells but they were considerate and left the door open.
The LA weather was ideal.
I overall loved my experience here. I’d recommend it for its fast efficient and thorough service.

I was afraid of getting a pedicure and a fill do to the reviews. I called made an appointment last week and like always I run late I got there at 7:00pm went my appointment was at 6:20pm. I was still help they did my fill and pedi. The staff was super friendly and very detailed on what I wanted.

Im disapointed! only came here for pedi. I came here 3times and never again!!! 1st time i came it was alrite not so good not so bad. the 2nd time i got some other lady cuz the other 1 was day off so i did them cuz i needed a pedi for later that day. once i it was done i was like ahh wutever its something. The 3rd was worse! They didnt take out in grown nail it was hurting after n next thing u know i have fungus! Really its only lile 2mims away so i figure wutever il just come here when im in a rush and this is wut i

I was running short on time and decided to try this place out. Once I stepped inside, I could tell I was going to regret it. I was waiting for more than 10 mins for a manicure. Till finally I asked. how long it was going to take. Mind you they only had 3 people working there and all 3 had clients. Customers kept walking in and they were told to sit and wait. However they would end up leaving because they are so damn short staffed. I was at the point of leaving and I was then seated. The lady did an alright job, I had told her to file my nails down more. she however completely ignored me and proceed with painting them. Bad customer service, the Wait time is insane, and the salon looks pretty dirty. I will not be returning.
