Successories in the Button Box

If the world was coming to an end, & I was given the choice of saving 5 of my favorite stores, Successories would hold the #2 spot. (2^nd only to Ambiance because I would need clothing. Oh, & food. But I could survive off nuts/​berries/​what have you.)
The handcrafted antique button line, aptly named ‘Cute As A Button’, is actually more extraordinary than cute. Each gloriously constructed piece is like wearable historical art. I’m not kidding. I’ve visited the store w/​the sole intent of purchasing a gift (SLAM DUNK kind-​of-​store for gifts {we’ll get to that shortly}), & managed to walk out w/​a ring, or earrings (or both) for myself. The jeweler/​store owner’s selection of setting for each unique piece is nothing short of genius. Truly mesmerizing. And that’s merely a subsection of jewelry sold at Successories!
So, about gift shopping at Successories. Do it. The options available are endless for jewelry lovers of all personality types. I buy ALL my gifts at Successories, & they have yet to disappoint. Or break the bank. AND gift wrapping is available! Not cheesy bows or unsightly wrapping patterns either. The end result always causes me to think, «Boy, now that’s a gift I’d like to receive.»

This is a small shop, but so unique. My whole family had a wonderful time exploring the jewelry (mostly handmade), hats, clothing, and other treasures. We were there looking for a present for a relative who is celebrating her 100^th birthday, and we found a beautiful necklace made from a mother-​of-​pearl button from the year she was born. The owner even engraved it for us. She was so kind and helpful, and gave both of my kids a bag of buttons. My daughter has been making her own jewelry out of buttons all day, and keeps saying that Successories is her favorite store. Happy to have such an unusual shop here in town. We will definitely be back!

I will let you know that this store is charming! The minute I walked in, I was immediately drawn into another world of beautiful, artisan treasures by the owner’s own hand, among other artists in this shop. The owner is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and caring, even gave me a discount on my purchase, «just because», to welcome me and believe me, I felt welcomed. She was very kind, sweet, and extremely thoughtful to me, even gave me a seat so I could feed my baby. Here you will find gorgeous, dainty, flattering, unique pieces of jewelry that are quite stunning as well as textile goods. I loved so many things! Each inch of the store is an adventure of treasures to discover. When the owner wrapped up another customer’s purchase for his wife, she attached a fragrant geranium from her garden to the wrapping. Very thoughtful, indeed! This is a classy, charming beautiful store and Pacifica is lucky to have it in our midst.
I rarely leave reviews because I do not make it a past time to ruin people’s livelihoods as some people care to do through social media. Instead, I understand what goes into owning a business, working hard to make it work, and feel people who leave poor reviews are on some kind of ego trip, especially when I read they are chronic Unilocal reviewers, as if their opinion seems to matter. It’s unfortunate people are so cruel. Don’t be swayed by one bad review people. People who don’t appreciate the hard work that goes into creating a successful business have probably never worked as hard to understand how hard it is. Leaving negative feedback is vicious and mean spirited. The energy you put out is the energy you receive. Maybe someone needs to get over herself.
