Personal training became natural to me since I was always in the gym, reading books and enjoyed helping people.

After I moved to California my goal switched from wanting to work in the medical field to helping my current clients in a higher quality way.

I was born and raised in Nashville, TN where I competed in my first bodybuilding competition and soon after graduated with a degree in Biology and Chemistry with plans to go to medical school. I soon after got the chance to visit California and decided to grow my business and make Pacific Palisades my community of focus.

I’ve been exercising with Jake Tiesler for about three years now and I can assure anyone looking for a trainer that you won’t find anyone better. I started working out with Jake when my daughter was just a few months old. We sat down and made a reasonable diet plan and came up with realistic (and most importantly HEALTHY) weight loss goals. I lost my baby weight in about three months. What I love most about Jake though, is that I know at every training session, he’s going to ask me more than just what I ate that day or how much I weighed that morning. Every time I see him he’s asking me how my work is going, how is my stress level, what’s going on with me personally that’s affecting my diet and how I feel about myself. He’s a got a «whole person» approach to training that helps more than just my waist line.

Jake Tiesler is a true fitness professional. He’s very responsive, helpful, honest, and knowledgeable. I especially like that he custom designs my workouts and guides my nutrition in order to meet my personal goals.
