I believe strongly in the many benefits of massage therapy, having experienced its healing effects personally, and I want to share this good medicine with the world. My aim is to help facilitate healing, relaxation, and a sense of well-​being in my clients, using proven techniques based on research and a solid foundation in anatomy and physiology.

My name is David Norman, and I am certified to practice massage by the California Massage Therapy Council (certification # 49 113) and insured by Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.

I studied massage at the Monterey Institute of Touch in Carmel Valley, CA, as well as several schools in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

I was in Carmel with my husband who was having heart surgery. I was spending endless hours in a hospital chair and was very stressed. I saw David for a 90 minute massage and felt like a new person. Even my routine aches and pains were gone.
I am now back in the bay area, but plan to visit the Carmel area again soon and will most definitely have an appointment with David on my schedule.

David is amazing. I have been back twice now in two months and will continue to go monthly. I appreciate the time he takes to sit down and talk prior to each session to see how you are feeling. I get a lot of headaches and he is trying to help alleviate the reoccurrence of them. I came for a deep tissue for my back and he went above and beyond to see what my body actually needed. His body knowledge and use of essential oils is exactly what I was looking for. I am so thankful for him and would recommend him to anyone.

I found David on Groupon when looking for a massage for my visiting mother. She was so amazed that I had to try a massage for myself. Sure enough I left his office feeling amazing and trying to have all my friends visit him as well.
His professionalism and atmosphere of serenity and hospitality is unmatched. His consultation when you first enter his office allows him to personalize your massage and target your specific problem areas.

David is the best. I have extensive experience with massage, so I have grown to know what I like and don’t like. David takes the time to sit down with you before the session starts and talk about your needs for the session. Even during the massage, he will adjust his techniques based on what your body needs.
I chose to stay with him as my massage therapist because he really knows what he is doing. You will come out of their refreshed and ready to take on the day. I definitely recommend him.

When it comes to massages I can be very picky. Most of the time I feel like the massage is based upon what the therapist wants to do and not on your needs but David was the complete opposite. From the start he actually sits down with you and does a complete assessment. He actually listens and adjust his massage based upon your needs, injuries and wants.
Like no other MT I have ever used David is intuitive, insightful and kind. You feel safe in his studio allowing you to be able to fully relax and receive the proper healing and stress relief we all are looking for. David’s energy is calming and relaxing, his touch is strong, purposeful and controlled.
I could not recommended him more and I do on a regular. Take my word for it, you will not be disappointed
