Very reasonable kayak rental right into the river– super comfy seats, and the guy running what definitely seems like a one man operation is friendly and goes over some safety and kayak basics before you start.
I could take a star away because all of that personalized attention means we waited a bit for the groups ahead of us to launch, but he also gave us an amazing lunch recommendation off our radar that turned out to be one of the best meals of our trip, and a rainy day ‘locals only’ hiking spot.
Definitely a great experience– we rented a ‘divorce canoe’ tandem, and all was smooth sailing!
