Clean and comfortable rooms at affordable prices. Many great views of the ocean and just minutes from the sand. A great place to stay for the whole family… even your dog!
We loved our stay at the PB Inn! We had two rooms, 6 and 8, which were side by side with a view and sound of the ocean. You do look past two small military houses but that was not a big deal. The rooms were recently refurbished, very clean, and room 8 has a full kitchen.(The oven does not heat evenly if you are cooking.) The staff was very friendly and super accommodating with our small pack of kids! It is a five minute easy walk to the beach. We plan to be back!

Loved the PBInn — nice people, cute accommodations right on the beach and dog friendly, including a parcel of dog towels and treats for our dog, Ophelia. PBInn was a real find for us and we felt lucky to have found them late at night, raining and no campgrounds in sight!

My boyfriend, kids, and i went here this summer for two nights and it was affordable and the best stay I’ve ever been in. We got room 8 which had an oceanside view, two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a shower. We would’ve preferred a bath tub for the kids but the shower was fine(Even though water got everywhere on the floor). There is also a futon in the living room with tv. The town itself is small and quiet which we wanted. Two grocery type stores with teriyaki in one of them and a kite store that sold coffee. The ocean isn’t far to access and enough wind to fly a huge pirate ship kite we had. It was a blast! And the perfect summer ending to our loop around the highway 101. The sunsets and sunrise were beautiful. If we didn’t have to work, we would’ve just moved in here! The staff were very nice and had a collection of movies to watch! Only minor issue we had was that they were doing construction on another building next to us when we were there. Went back home with a great tan and pictures haha Definitely would come here again.

We followed our GPS to get to this out of the way hotel and were surprise to find this great place. The rooms are nice and spacious, clean and bright. They may be in the middle of renovations as our room was fine but parts of it still needed some minor work. Our room had a view of the ocean and you can hear the pounding of the waves to lull you to sleep. The bed was VERY comfortable. Our room had a refrigerator, microwave and a moveable table/island to prepare food. There was a small dining table. The beach is walking distance. The beach is huge as it was low tide when we we out. The sand is very fine and soft, not grainy. The owner is very friendly, nice and helpful. Tip: there is no hair dryer.

Pacific Beach Inn is quaint and cozy. The rooms are clean, well furnished, and have wonderful views of the ocean, as well as a nice deck space. You can also hear the ocean which is very calming. I stayed in rooms 8 and 11. Both were very nice, but I liked room 11 the best because it had a larger deck and space for my children to run back and fourth outside. There are two convenient stores within walking distance of the inn, which is very nice. Also, the rooms come with everything that is needed for preparing your own food which is a plus. Pacific Beach is smaller than Ocean Shores and Long Beach, which, to my surprise, I ended up enjoying because there were no crowds of people, just you and the ocean. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful getaway, for some kite flying, and walks on the beach away from the hustle and bustle of everyday city life. :)

Stayed here for a week in early March 2015, was so relaxing and the rooms were very nice and cozy, the beds were awesome… Think it was like 3−4″ memory foam on a nice mattress… Total beach house feel. It was like staying in a relatives guest house. They only go in the room if you need them to. Very friendly people…

This is our new favorite getaway spot. Our updated room(you can call and ask if you’re not sure) was IKEA furnished and absolutely gorgeous. The view from our second floor room would have cost so much money at any other beach. It was perfect for us two and had a mini kitchen with fridge, microwave and counter space to make sandwiches and organize breakfast. We don’t like to buy everything when we’re at the beach so we bring coffee and prepared homemade salads and sandwich fillings so we can make our own picnics. The husband and wife team who are running the hotel were kind, helpful and went out of their way to offer advice or help as needed. We arrived a bit before check in, but our room was ready so they let us in to enjoy. That set the tone for the service we would receive for the next two days. The bathroom(also updated) was as gorgeous as the main room but shower only, no tub, which works fine for us. Noise was minimal and when we did see our next door neighbors they were friendly and chatty. Looking forward to our next visit!

Stayed here on a work trip last week. It was all we needed and more. Good price, great room, fantastic staff who gave us excellent recommendations on where to eat in the area. Nice 5-minute walk to the beach made for good sunset-watching and morning run before work meetings. I’d like to come back here on personal time.

The new management is taking things very seriously. They are working to improve the inn and have plans for new features(like a packed sandwich for heading off to the beach or festival). The rooms are clean and have the basics for preparing your own food. I stayed in room 8 and it was great for sharing with another couple and our dog. Since they allow dogs(a big bonus for we dog people), there is a chance that you will see and/or smell dogs on the property. I did not smell them in our room when we arrived. It’s not fair to compare an inn located in a small town on the coast with places in the city. We were here to be at the beach and enjoy each others’ company. We had a clean room with a view of the ocean, everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare the food we brought with us(there is a small convenience store in town, but they are not a fully stocked grocery store — bring food you like from home), a nice sized TV with lots of cable channels, and free WiFi. There are no leash laws for the beach, so be prepared to see happy pups running amuk on the beach and in the ocean. My dog has never been more happy!

Here is the thing about Pacific Beach Inn; it’s cheap. What do you get for the price? A basic room that barely holds the beds, a small table and two wooden chairs. You get a 27 inch TV with cable. You may get a microwave, fridge, plates and utensils. As the old saying goes«it ain’t pretty» but I’ve stayed in much worse places. We were in room 15 which is part of a three room building off to the side and found it to be very quiet. Our only real issue was a lost reservation which took some discussion to resolve. Why stay here besides the cheap price? They take dogs and only charge an additional $ 10 per night.

We stayed in room eight, which is a two bedroom, and had our miniature dachshund with us – so we needed a dog-friendly room. The place just reeked of urine. The pillows, the carpeting — it made you feel like they really weren’t cleaning the rooms. I noticed a couple downstairs had a couple of large, wet dogs. The husband was spraying Febreze all over his car interior and said«I don’t know how we would get by without this.» The room is very unimpressive, and overlooks a road and some houses along the edge of the bluff. Even though it’s on the second floor, you don’t get privacy because the road is at an elevation where people can see right in your room. Oh, and the walls are paper thin. There is about a five minute walk to the beach.
