I have been coming here for the past 5 plus years and i wont go anywhere else for my smogs. There is never any bs, excuses, etc just great customer service hard work honesty and a smile. It is rare to find a place like this and better yet i hear they are opening up a repair shop just down the street very soon. They will also get my business.

I took my Hoopty to Pacheco Smog. Well it did not pass but the service was great. I was given a print-​out that said, «Failed» that I can show the State and retire my Hoopty. All my questions were answered and now I know how to retire my vehicle. Pacheco was honest and courteous. While I was waiting for my test, I overheard other customers being helped. All the customers were impressed with the service and short waiting time to get their automobile smogged. These folks are really organized and efficient!

I was In and out in 20 mins. I got fast and friendly service. The technician even gave an observation to avoid a potential future problem with my car. What more can you ask for?

I haven’t had to get a car smogged for a while so I asked around before I selected Pacheco Smog. They came recommended by a few folks who use them on a regular basis. They explain the process and what to expect. The wait time was not very long even with the number of folks ahead of me. I will return when it’s the fabulous time to smog again. There is a reason for the high ratings.

I pulled up at 3:50PM. The smog check was done, paid for, and I was back in my car at 4:05PM. And at a cheaper price than quotes I had gotten elsewhere. Awesome service.

The shop is great! The owner is very nice and the service is wonderful. Always take my cars here. You will be in and out in no time, the prices are very fair. Highly recommend this place.

There is a reason this place has 5 stars, it was the only place I called where they gave me an out the door price straight off the bat, everyone else offered ridiculously cheap ads then add on about 5 fees for certificate, older model, larger vehicle etc, (some places even tried adding a STAR fee as mine required a STAR station, apparently it makes no difference to the test they do, they’re either a STAR station or they’re not) and they came in equal cheapest of the 5 I called after all of their — *additional fees apply.
I dealt with Hirmand this morning, he took time to explain a few question I had, he’s polite and a pro, just old school good service, wish more businesses were run like this. At least two more years on the road for my 93 Toyota!

Quick and painless. Took all of 10 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. A little more pricey than other places I’ve gone before but the other places take twice as long and are half as friendly as Tony.

This year on my registration it stated that I had to go to a star certified station because of the age of my car (10 years old). This special certification is more costly than just a regular smog, so I wasn’t able to go to the place that my family had been going to for a few years, which lead me to Unilocal!There are so many smog companies on Unilocal,that it can get overwhelming to sort through the many options, but I was amazed when I stumbled upon Pacheco Smog and its list of all 5 star reviews. I went on the DMV website to confirm that Pacheco Smog had the special certification I needed and then I called this place as well as two other locations in Concord. Although I had read that this location had a better price than other smog shops, $ 50 if you check in on Unilocal vs $ 59 or $ 60 elsewhere, I wanted to call around to confirm pricing. When I showed up I was greeted warmly. I felt immediately comfortable, (probably because of the list of good reviews I knew that I would be taken care of fairly), and the two employees I met (I believe one was the owner) were very friendly and joking around. They had a TV in the reception area, and the channel was an age appropriate channel, the Discovery channel, unlike other car places where they have trashy talk shows on. Free wifi, and the quickest service ever! Definitely will be back and will be recommending to my family as their cars are around 10 years old too. Wish they did oil changes because I would by more often!

Fast, no nonsense affordable. Family owned but very professional.
Shouldn’t all businesses be run like this?
Plus points for keeping surrounding clean and being courteous.

Death, Taxes, and being required by the DMV to get your car smogged every 2 years are some of the sure things in life. So when I got the notice recently, I scanned the reviews for a place that would do it relatively cheap, do a good job, and efficiently send me on my way.
Pacheco Smog is a Star facility and is a little hard to find in the «no mans land» between Target and Highway 4, but it’s well worth the time and effort (and the online coupon) to get the job done. The guy who tested my car was friendly, informative, and professional. And that’s as good as it gets for keeping up my driving privilege.

I know I know, we have a lot of cars/​trucks, growing boys and all. But every time I come here. Why? Friendly and helpful, even if there is something a little wrong they help me if they can and/​or make me understand how to get it fixed. With minimal if any charge. Probably because they know I will be back. Thanks again guys!
