Jeff Gardner and his team are extremely professional and competent. In 2011, the first time our Precor treadmill broke(after using it in our home, almost daily, for nearly 10 years), ClubCare came out and told us that the manufacturer had authorized replacement of some parts if the treadmills were less than 10 years old, so they did a number of major repairs without charge, in addition to fixing the malfunctioning keypad(which is why we called them). I called ClubCare again today(March 14, 2016) and Jeff talked me through the various options for addressing the belt, which had developed a tear and was making noise when it went through the machine. Jeff also sent me a quote for replacing the belt, which is what I had requested, the same day we spoke. We did the quick fix(trimming the belt) that Jeff had mentioned and it seems to be working, so although we know we will replace the belt in the future, we’re going to try to put it off for awhile(might be days, weeks, or maybe even months!). Thank you Jeff and Club Care.

When my stationary bike needed a fix, I was given(like the previous reviewer) two choices by the manufacturer. Choice #1 was crap; the rep was totally uninterested in what was wrong with the bike, but totally interested in describing the high cost of having the problem diagnosed, fixed, etc… And so I called ClubCare. What a relief! Starting with the initial phone call and ending with the resolution of my issue, ClubCare provided outstanding service. Jeff(the guy who handled most of the situation) listened closely to the«symptoms» affecting my bike, and was able to provide a diagnosis over the phone and have a part ordered to be delivered to my house. I had the choice of installing it myself(to save the time and $ of having a ClubCare service rep come to my house) or have an on-site service call. I handled the repair myself, with some minor coaching from Jeff, and now I have a fully operational bike. It was really refreshing to have ClubCare explore the options that would work best in my circumstances and provide me with a reasonable price to fix the bike. Very different than Choice #1(see above) that provided me with a rote, uninterested approach to my broken bike. I think ClubCare works mainly with health clubs and gyms(lucky them), but I have to say that ClubCare treated me(an individual bike owner) like I was just as important as any other«big» customer.

These dorks just called me, woke me up, and then hung up when I answered. If you dial a wrong number, at least have the courtesy to apologize. You see, there’s this thing called«Caller ID…»

Our elliptical was having an issue, and I hired the wrong guy to fix, Club Care’s owner was sympathetic to our wasted money and tried to help me with free advice and guidance. It turned out I did need one of his crew to come out, but they were quick friendly, and got the job done right.

Our elliptical machine was showing signs of wear and definitely not running as smoothly as it used to. When I called Precor support, their rep was pretty rude and condescending in general, but I managed to get the names of two authorized repair centers in the Bay Area. The first one in Hayward wanted to charge extra because they would have to hike down to South Bay so I gave Club Care a call. Gina who answered the phone was super friendly, quoted a fair price, didn’t rush to get off the phone, and even put me in touch with someone there(Jeff) who could answer my questions specific to our elliptical machine and the problems we were having with it. I was impressed with how Jeff treats his potential customers. Anthony who came out to fix our machine was great — he quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it in no time flat and even answered all my questions about preventative maintenance for the future. Give these guys a shot when your exercise machine needs maintenance or repair!
