Papa John’s Pizza

I don’t eat pizza much but this restaurant gotta go. I had it delivered and it came quite quick. But pizza was sloppy inside box, it was not cut properly, and it’s was cold. And after I finished my one pizza my stomach began to rumble and the burps began. So please don’t eat from this particular Pappa John please.

Terrible service. Lack of professionalism. Rude. Not helpful at all. That’s just the initial interaction with staff. Everything looks dirty and in shambles. The lazy excuse of a manager named Hansel or something refused to provide an out of state employee their employee discount. He refused to confirm anything saying that the individual does not work for him, therefore he was not giving an out of state employee the discount. An attempt was made to clarify the matter with the out of state employee’s manager via telephone to no avail.
This location is already trash. With barely any consistent customer ttaffic, this location is a joke. Clean up the store and clean up your so called managing skills. Losing out on a potential cash influx in to your location is a reflection of your inability to properly run a business. How disgusting. Because at the end of the day, even if the customer was incorrect — professionalism is key and now this locations reputation is getting dragged through the dirt. Thanks for being such a terrible reflection of a decent brand.

apparantly i had a different experience with this location, i feel like the lady and the man at the counter were extremely nice to me, im also someone who likes to talk and make friends. anyways i had no idea what i wanted to get i got 3 large 3 topping pies they stayed with me about 15 mins just to figure out what toppings i wanted. constantly throwing new ideas at me they did not have to but they did. the pizza also tasted amazing so their advice was very good. i dont know about their delivery service i have never ordered out but my one time there was very good experience.

Pizza: On par with other chain locations. No deviation.
Customer Service: Not the best. I went in to pick up a pizza I ordered for carryout. There was a woman ahead of me trying to pick up her order but the guy at the counter kept trying to hit on her, unsuccessfully, I might add. I could tell the woman was agitated by him and I felt a bit icky because I had to witness it in a room full of people and the guys in the back which included a manager did nothing about it.
Communication: Horrible. I ordered a pizza with anchovies as one of my two toppings. I didn’t find out until I got to the restaurant that they were out and almost rarely ever have it and then the guy says he tried to call me. FALSE. My phone never rang, so either he lied or dialed the wrong number. Luckily, I wasn’t too put out by it as I ordered the topping just to try it.
Also according to the website, they don’t deliver to my address which is odd considering I’m less than a half mile away. So while the pizza was standard, I probably will just order from the location on 101^st Ave that just opened up. This location has too many problems from communication to service.

Order from this location on the regular and the service is pretty good. No real complaints. Can work on speed of customer service a little but overall a good experience.

Awful. I’ve ordered from here a couple of times. It’s funny how when I earned a free pizza from them they didn’t even care to take the time to actually bake it properly. It was literally a waste. Come on! Your way way way better off at Pizza Hut. Papa Johns is a waste. Their wings are always stale. Save your money and go to Pizza Hut!

If this could be a zero star, this place would definitely be it. I decided against delivery because I knew it would take them about 3 hours to deliver.
I went there on September 7^th, at around 7pm.
We get in the place, there is a older guy making the pizza, two employees on the phone (btw, they were silent on the phone for about 5 minutes). and another family just waiting on the side.
One of the employees, with dirty apron, gets off the phone and asked us what we wanted. We said we would like the 12 inch «the works». He said what? Then he voluntarily takes over the phone for his other employee while ignoring us. The other employee (black shirt lady) just wipes the sweat off her forehead with bare hands and walks away. This is now about 10 minutes later.
The guy who is making the pizza finally tells the guy on the phone why don’t you just take their order now! The guy just kept looking at us while being silent on the phone again. At this point, I walked out! Then the guy finally gets off his phone and said oh no I’ll take your order now.
FOR WHAT!!! We have patiently waited for about 15 minutes while you were on the phone playing. Should I have called instead of standing right in your face next time?

This place SUCK! I love papa johns but they take forever to delivery, especially if you order after 10pm. It looks like they just make a delivery so the delivery guy doesn’t have to go back. DO NOT ORDER HERE.

This particular Papa John’s is horrible! The people here are rude and the service is horrible! I would not order from papa johns from this location again.

In my opinion papa johns is by far the best pizza in flavoring. I always eat it with the garlic sauce and my boyfriend likes it with ranch. Waiting for the food has never really been a problem but they should learn how to answer their phone. The employees have such nasty attitudes a few times I’ve been given the wrong change. But in all the taste is great

Tried ordering from here again. Took an hour and a half!!! I was told 30 – 40 minutes on the phone. I had to call twice. NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM HERE!!! And the food was cold. The driver was nice and did apologize for the delay.

Ordered a vegan pie (No cheese). Received a cheese pie! Driver put in order for the original item — two calls to the store and three hours later — finally got the pie!!! Horrible customer service/​rude, inexperienced employees.

Let me just start by saying that everyone that works in here including the «supervisor» are a bunch of morons. you might as well have a group of monkeys running this joint. who ever the franchise «owner» is should put a little more effort in the hiring process and hire someone with atleast a GED or zoo experience. I wont even get into details of the horrible experience because previous reviews will inform u of that but let just save u the hastle and tell u to support a local pizzeria instead. THIS IS NOTHING LESS OF A CIRCUS WITH CLOWNS LABELED AS SUPERVISORS.

Ordered a pizza and some other stuff and online price and receipt said 33.21… when the delivery came he said it was 42.05 e came with attitude saying that he was in a rush. and he left the reciept in the car (what a coinciden) Call the office and after talking to the guy saying that it was 42.05 after tell him way, he decided to charge same price that was online, blaming that was a girl mistake at the store. So people be aware of this guys jacking up the prices for a few dollars extra… plus tips.

One measly slice of regular cheese pizza was bland, no flavor and tasted like cardboard which was approximately $ 2.95. To the servers and cashiers I was completely invisible after I placed my order. They all laughed and gossip off-​the-​job nonsense behind the counter for an utter ten minutes standing idle rather than checking the oven to see if orders are cooked and ready to serve. Many were clicking away on smartphones either Facebook, games or music– basically anything and everything besides work. I believe most of the staff are high school students being young and inexperienced looking for extra money and not caring if customers are served properly.
Do you really want to eat cardboard? Do you want to be invisible by a business who do not serve you properly?

Horrible service my boyfriend and I ordered wings one night & it never came. We called every hour for 3 hrs straight to get the status and Everytime someone said 10mins more after 3hrs I’ve had enough & called & spoke with a manager the only thing he had to say was «I’m sorry» They’re always late with the deliveries & we’re only a few blocks down. Horrible Horrible service and the staff have no customer service.

Over an hour and a half for a simple delivery (1 medium pie) and when it came it was cold, I also ordered a side sauce which didn’t come with the order. When I called I was told I would be charged a delivery fee for the driver to come back and it would be at least 30 min.!!

I agree. Worst pizza place… Little costumer service over the phone, 1 hr for delivery, the delivery guy didn’t even get out of the car and the pizza looked horrible, cold, little ingredients, the cheese on top of the pepperoni. Waste of my $$

I have been waiting over 2 ½ hours for my order. Every time I call they have a different excuse and no real answer as to where my food is. Last conversation amounted to either my food hasn’t been made yet or its been out for delivery for the past 2 hours (how is that appetizing!!!).

Papa Johns is not known as the world’s best pizza but I do come here sometimes when I am near the train and just wanna get pizza to go or for a group of people.
I usually get the half chicken and half Italian spicy sausage on my pizza. Sometimes throw in some Banana Peppers too, ORIGINAL crust is what I like. Papa’s wings are $ 7.99 to order, they give you a decent amount of food too.
I mean this is New York, I know, alot of mom and pops pizza businesses to choose from in many neighborhoods. I last ordered from here with my Super Bowl special code that I got, had to place the online order, then go pick it up here instead of getting the delivery. I had not got the actually delivery here in forever, but still decent service from that part of the deal as well.
