These guys are very trustworthy, I had the silliest thing wrong with my car and they fixed it, no charge. They are my new mechanics.

Streetwise, knows what to look for, I recommend him highly.

Update…
A few months ago we had to bring my Dad’s car to Monkey Wrench because the check engine light came on. Lenny put it up on the lift, and easily spent about 30 minutes testing it and diagnosing it.
Turned out my Dad put duct tape on the gas cap (silly, old man). He thought it would make a better seal. This allowed oxygen into the tank, and set off the light.
We absolutely wasted 30 minutes of Lenny’s time, and he still refused to take any money. I mean really. What mechanic does that?
These guys are golden.

HONEST SERVICE AT A FAIR PRICE!!!
Had a 2002 Nissan Sentra that was making a strange noise and having difficulty starting.
Decided to give Monkey Wrench a try after reading the other 2 reviews on here, and they were spot on.
They immediately diagnosed the starting problem as a battery issue, and said the rattling/​grinding when driving was probably the exhaust system shield. When I asked when I should come pick the car up, they told me I could wait, that it would be 15 minutes. Could NOT believe that. Elsewhere, I usually have to leave my car for an hour for an oil change.
They welded the shield back on right there. Charged me $ 152 for a new battery and the shield repair. That was a fair price.
NOW FOR THE HONEST PART…
While driving away the car continued to make some awful noise, and so I made a U-​turn and brought it back.
The techs heard it as I drove it, and said it might be the brakes. So I’m thinking great… Here we go… $$$$$
They put my car back on the lift and all the techs gathered, staring intently at inner edges of my wheels. They came back and told me it was some metal grinding against the rotor of one of the wheels. A wrench and 2 minutes and it was fixed.
They could have easily told me I needed new brakes and I’d have been none the wiser. But they were 100% HONEST.
I have already recommended them to two friends!

Called ahead asking to get my car inspected and they were very kind and told me ahead of time that they could inspect my car but not guarantee a time frame. I was off today so I was very flexible and I live near by so was not worried about timing. From the time I drove over and had my car inspected I would say it took 10 minutes max. Also couldn’t beat the fair price!!! The mechanics were great and I’m so happy I took a chance on trying a new place out. So very appreciative for their professionalism and service to my car!!!

These guys are jerks. I called to see if I could get an inspection, they said to come in 45 minutes. I show up and am asked to wait an additional 40 minutes, after which they tell me their inspection machine is broken. No apology, no consideration for the fact that it’s now too late in the day to go to anyone else. Unless you’re personal friends with these people, you’ll get treated like crap.

This place is really good, they are honest and fast, I didn’t feel as I was ripped off.

My car was having problems starting and a previous mechanic told me my battery was good! When I came here they checked out my vehicle and guess what? My battery was dead
They used the battery tester and showed me that it was Time for a new one.
As you can see the previous mechanic was setting me up for failure. So one of the guys replaced my battery and my car was good to go! I usually never write reviews but I want people know that this mechanic shop can be trusted and they are Good and honest mechanics.

The place looks like a dive, off the beaten path, but it has really honest mechanics who seek the best solution and price. It took a long time for me to find a good mechanic, and I won’t go to anyone else now.

They have a professional welder on site to fix all of your exhaust issues and they work fast. Lenny, Tesh and Chris are a really good and fun team, they also cater to the tuner community by installing any nature of aftermarket parts, coilovers, springs, exhaust systems, cold air intakes.
I have been a frequent customer for years and they always make it happen. Isn’t personalized customer service what we all desire?
