Today I went to home depot, along with my mother to pick up some bathroom remodeling supplies. I was going to purchase 3 big pieces of drywall but I was certain that they wouldn’t fit in her van. That’s when I asked for help in the tool rental department, and we met Ernie. Best customer service I have ever had in any establishment. He not only cut the drywall to fit into our van, but also wiped it up to make sure it didn’t get our van too dirty. I’d like to add that he was also very careful on measuring and very gentle with the drywall. This was the customer service I have been waiting for. He was also helpful in suggesting tools that we could get there to help us with our project. But his customer service didn’t stop there. He also rang us up and even helped load it into our van for us. Thank you so much Ernie! We really appreciate it!

Thanks to Tim in the plumbing department, I had an exemplary experience at this Home Depot store today. He went above and beyond with checking another store’s inventory. When it didn’t have what I was looking for, he made sure I was taken care of at the special order desk so it could be ordered online and receive the current discounted store pricing, even though he had to wait until someone was available to explain my situation. Very pleasant sales associate and knowledgeable about the product.

I went in to get what lowes didn’t have and on the website it said home depot has 18 in stock… well I finally found a worker she said they weren’t in stock cause they werent on the shelf, so i showed her on my phone that there website said different. first she said there up on top storage and it would be a while cause there is alot of stuff in the way and that she was busy. i said its fine i can wait about so about 2 minutes of looking on her store device she said that they arent in stock cause she hasnt seen them in a while. she didnt even look like she said. i know the store was a disaster. but she just didnt want to look. she said she zeroed them out on website 6 hours later they still show they have them in stock. i still know home depot has more of a variety than lowes. but lowes does have better customer service… I would go to lowes just cause they know how to treat a customer!

We want to buy ceramic tiles. We found the one we like but it’s nothing on the selves. Desi, she was helped us. It had in the inventory but we couldn’t find it. Desi was looking for every where and never gave up. Finally she found it. Appreciate Desi!

The service in the carpet department is godawful. When a guy was finally available to help me, he just left without a word. The girl who was helping others didn’t even call him or someone else over to help me. Had me waiting for over 30 minutes, which I realize now that I shouldn’t have. I ended up going to Lowes and they took care of me right away.

We went camping in nearby Carpinteria. We started to set up camp and realized our power converter was dead. Nearby hardware stores in town were already closed and this Home Depot was the closest (even though it was still 30 minutes away). I was able to check on my phone through their website if they had what I needed in stock. It even told me what aisle to find it on. With an employees help, I was able to get in and out of there pretty quickly.

Zero stars AGAIN!!! After dropping the ball with our counter tops, they mis measured our door so the wrong door was ordered. Everything Home Depot touches turns to ash!!! And good luck getting a refund from them… oh they’ll issue it but the refund we were supposedly issued on 9⁄8 still has yet to show back up in our checking account (as of 9⁄21) so God only knows when the refund that they issued yesterday (9⁄20) is going to reappear. True to form, like with the counters and door, it’s not THEIR fault it’s the other business’ fault. It’s the bank; it’s the contractors, not Home Depot… awful company — no one has a straight answer no one gives your the same answer, and now $ 5200 is floating around in the digisphere and the last person who had it was Home Depot. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

So this is your standard Home Depot in size and merchandise. They do however have the tropical tress I can’t find in Vegas which was the reason for the stop. I got a mango and white guava tree for the wife. They were is great shape and did well on the trip back to Vegas.
The store was in good shape and the service was as expected. So if you are a Vegas resident like me and looking for hard to find tropical tress this will fit the bill

Every time i come I can never find lumber carts. It sick I spend 30 minutes looking for one every time I come. Is there as shortage do they even know I complain all the time. Not a problem in the camarillo home depot they have so many there maybe they should borrow some.

I go to the Home Depot because it’s convenient to my home but I usually leave disappointed. I asked a gal if she was familiar with sandpaper and she said she was and I told her that I needed it for fine sanding of wood trim and she suggested one that was like a roof shingle. Completely the opposite of what I needed. Thank Goodness I even knew that wouldn’t work. So do your homework before you go and think they are gonna be of help because they aren’t. Yikes!

You guys really need to hire better. I don’t care if you think some little 20 year old girl is hot and bats some fake eyelashes at you for a job! When I walked in and the garage shelves that used to be in front moved because of Halloween decorations, I asked one of your little girl associates where I could find them. She quickly told me well if they aren’t there in front then we don’t have any. Seriously? I knew right away that was BS. I found them myself. Lucky for your store it was near closing and I wasn’t going to make it up the street to Lowe’s in time to buy elsewhere but oh man I was pissed. That is who you want working for you? Zero customer service and yet some people want to push minimum wage to $ 15 an hour? You don’t deserve $ 15 an hour when you are useless to your employer.

Not often do I give 5 star ratings, but shout out goes to «Randy» in the lumber department for excellent customer service! My hubby had many questions that Randy answered. I really like the way Randy took the time to ask other employees for their help/​suggestions.
At the beginning there was another employee who helped us by getting the heavy pine wood onto a cart & moving it to the lumber dept. We appreciated that! I wish I got his name.
So, for your lumber needs, look for Randy!

I made an order online and picked it up today. Unfortunately a couple of items were not what I ordered. I have found this to be the case at Lowes as well. The help that gets the stuff doesn’t always get it right. However, I am going to rate the experience 5 stars, because the gentleman at the customer service desk, Rick, was so extremely helpful and knowledgeable, that he sorted everything out, and gave me a courtesy discount as well. By the way, Rick has an alternate spelling of his name, but I don’t recall exactly what it was. he said he was a child of the sixties… no longer such a child. I can relate as a child of the 19 forties.

Loudly ringing phone over PA system really detracts. I have been working with a custom bathroom specialist — about 4 hours into it now, over 3 days. The service has been wonderful, but the loudly ringing phone is just nerve wracking. I dread having to come into the store because of all the noise. Certainly, employees can be notified of the ringing phone silently with modern technology.

I think there must be some secret plot by Home Depots to hire the most unhelpful and rude people they can find. Really long lines with 1 cash register open, rude and uncaring staff, and frustrated customers. If you have time to waste standing in line and enjoy wandering aimlessly, this is your place. If you appreciate customer service, look elsewhere.

My roommate and I went here to purchase a new toilet last week and the service was horrible! We walked in and the store was a mess, and very disorganized. Not one sales associate asked us if we needed help. When we finally found where the toilets were located, we were looking around at the different types and were a tad confused. An employee finally came down the aisle and went up to the older couple who had bee. Waiting longer than us and didn’t even talk about toilets. He asked them about an air conditioning service they provide, got their info and left. It seems as If this company is more I to selling their services than helping customers in the store. We did not buy anything, and went right to lowes where they were more than willing to help us to get the right item.

DO NOT PURCHASE APPLIANCES FROM HERE.
I bought a dishwasher, the installers spoke no english and didn’t know how to install it. Had to get my own electrician. Now the dishwasher is broken (3 months old) and their installers will only show up on TUES or THURS. People have to work.
After complaining, they promised to come on Saturday, I waited all day and nobody showed up.
They do not care about their customers at all. Avoid this Home Depot and buy locally.

Don’t get me wrong, the staff are helpful, it’s just one can never seem to find one when one needs assistance.

Came here today with a strict shopping list, but while in the garden checkout line I spotted a fire pit sitting in its lonesome behind the register. I asked for help to see how much it would cost, since I was definitely in the market to buy one.
ROSS, our awesome team member– helped us do EXTENSIVE research to find the price on the fire pit since there wasnt a price tag already on it. He spent over 30mins helping us and at the end of the day came through while at the same time hooking us up with a sale priced item.
Customer service an workers like ROSS, are reasons why we are returning customers to the Home Depot.
Home Depot also has great selection and if something is not available they can order it for you and have it shipped to your home at No cost. Thanks Home Depot!

It can be a little hard to find someone to help you here, but when I finally did (by going up to the registers and finding someone there) I got help quickly. Actually, the young woman I first asked, acted like she didn’t know what a «surge protector» was, however she did ask a co-​worker and he told me which isle to find them on. This is a big store, kept relatively clean. On my visit last weekend, the concrete section was in a bit of disarray with broken bags and stuff scattered about, but otherwise the store was neat and well organized. The staff was friendly when I was able to pin them down for help.
