Luna’s Thrift Store

If only I could give a zero star. Literally just junk! Very small selection and tiny store. And … CASH ONLY! Wow. It’s the 20^th century. I hope and pray that this store either gets shut down. Or goes out of business. It makes thrift shoppers embarrassed and frustrated. STAY AWAY!!!

This place baffled me.
I am typically someone with LOTS to say about everything (ever in the history of the world) but my trip to Luna’s left me so unenthused and without words that I actually don’t have much to say.
Yes, There are racks of clothing and I suppose if you *needed* to buy something to wrap your body in the items would do but you’d find a better deal at super thrift or digging through the garbage. I found the stuff to be U.G.L.Y. (but clean. oh HAI!) and overpriced. Fifteen dollars used jeans? errrp me thinks not. If that’s how much I need to pay to wear someone else’s old rags, you can find me draped in a sheet.
There are things besides clothing but when I say things I mean maybe ten or eleven things and one of them is a C-​Span mug which I believe speaks volumes to the excitement that lies in this respective «department» of the store.
The dudes behind the counter seemed to be friendly but genuinely confused as why I was there which was great because that made two of us. I mean, that makes sense– What was I doing at a wizardy thrift store in Ventura county?
If I haven’t already swayed you enough to immediately back away from your computer and get your patoot over to Luna’s I must warn you of two things: They do not take credit cards and parking is a hassle.
Now go wild.

In the off chance you rip your pants on the train to Oxnard and have no transportation once you get there, it is important to note Luna’s is only two blocks from the station. It’s also important to note that they don’t have a dressing room…
This combination of factors means I now have a wait loss goal to get into my $ 2.99 Levis I got in Oxnard.
P. S. — If you think $ 2.99 for a pair of pants is pretty damn cheap, remember that the prices match the décor, duct tape covering the walls and all.

This place is
a) more aptly named «Luna’s Garage Sale»
b) not worth trying to park to visit and
c) awful.

Pretty tiny thrift store with an assortment of clothes and a small selection of bric-​à-​brac. Very strange parking situation.
