History

Established in 1975.

After graduating from USC with a major in English I taught for two years in Ventura as well as coaching the swimming & water polo teams. I decided to go into the insurance business with State Farm and have never looked back. It’s hard to believe that 2015 will be my 40^th year as an insurance agent. As an independent contractor for State Farm I run my own insurance agency backed by the largest insurance company. I sell auto, home, life and business insurance and I think (modestly of course!) that I run the best insurance office in Ventura. My team members Kathy & Sherry know more than I do and are wonderful to work with. If you’d like us to take care of you and your insurance needs give us a call!

I guess the most interesting thing about me is that I love to swim. My daughter often kids me that I do better in water than on land. In college I was a member of the USC swim team and I’ve coached swimming and water polo teams at Ventura High and Agoura High schools. Currently I’m a member of the Ventura County Masters swim club and compete in local, national and world swim meets. Every 5 years or so I get the desire to do an ocean swim. I’ve swum a 3.5K around Alcatraz Island (without a wet suit), across the San Francisco Bay under the Golden Gate Bridge and between Lanai & Maui, and many more swims. My next adventure is swimming between 5 Greek islands later this year. One of my goals is to compete in a swim meet at age 100.
