Glad I don’t have to drive a distance from my grandparents house for phở. I always get the phở with shrimp which is good. I do wish that the shrimp is peeled but either way I’m still a fan. I always get take-out & I love that it’s ready in 15 mins. Other places were 45 mins to an hour. Thai tea is good which is my go to drink. I’ve tried #16 which is my #2 favorite with the shrimp phở.

We came here for the first time, and we had no complaints on the service and food. Our phở was very flavorful, and the spring rolls were yummy! Service was fast and friendly as well. I am deducting a star because nickleback videos were playing on the TV the entire time we were there. You should know better than to assault your customers with nickleback in 2016.

The food is good, but when I ordered the #3 the last time I was there, I came home to open my meal up to a peanut butter dip that was OLD! How could I tell? Fresh peanut butter dip for their shrimp and pork spring rolls have a thick texture to it and looks fairly brown, not black! I tossed the dip. On top of that, I just ate their today since it was raining and was craving some Phở Dac Biet, which is their #13 menu item. Meal was good, but the workers glance at you and giggle, making you feel uncomfortable. Then after receiving change for my bill and tipped the waiter, one of the employees behind the counter said something in Vietnamese and him and a female employee started laughing. These guys are weird and kind of rude. Don’t talk shit about your customers. You would easily go out of business just like the last vendor that rented out of your location!

If you love Phở you won’t love this. My girlfriend and I wanted to check out this new spot but were both disappointed a bit by the quality. Phở wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t good either. We were the only other couple in the restaurant and still had to wait a little bit on service. Definitely friendly, just took a little longer than expected and had to ask for the sides. On the plus side they are open on Monday but there are better options in Oxnard and Ventura County. They are new, still learning and hopefully they will get better.

Fast service! Nice décor! Decent portions. There was just something lacking in the soup flavor — it seemed less fatty or watered down(not quite sure), which means it’s probably healthier, but it doesn’t taste quite as delicious as I would have liked.

I like the food. I would go back and try more. I think the price of their food is about the same except their servings are super small compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. So really we are getting less for the money. One of the things we ordered was a porkchop meal. It only had one porkchop whereas I expected 2 from what I am used to. The combination fried rice is good but again either change their to go containers or add more fried rice in there. It is a new restaurant and they have things to work out. But I do hope they can work it out to stay in that place because no business seems to do well in that particular area. *UPDATE After going back here for three to go orders and dining in once, I really thought I was going to update to another star higher but from my experience last time it really was a bit upsetting. I ordered the pork chop plate I expected 2 pork chops. The first time I ordered it had one and different color and taste(it was more of a red sauce or something). The second time i ordered it had 2 pork chops and it was more of a neutral color how any cooked meat would look and it tasted better. Well recently It was back to 1 pork chop and it didn’t taste good. Therefore I think I will stick to the other vietnamese restaurants. This place is mostly good food and they are super nice and attentive to customers but the portion size and price and probably packaging to go items is a minus. The soup melted the plastic cover of the container because it was too hot and the plastic was not meant to have hot soup or any hot liquid.

There is a Phở restaurant at Rose Ave and Oxnard Blvd. It was a Filipino rest. before and is in the same parking lot as Tacos mi Pueblo and Walgreens. The first time we had their food, I got it «To Go». It was SO good! We decided that it was worth going back. Sunday, we went back, and it was every bit as good! We ate there. The food was really good. Fresh ingredients, fast service, and the servers are SO friendly. They take the time to answer your questions, they actually listen, and they check on you often. I am sitting here eating the left over soup and LOVING it! Really, if you are local to Oxnard, try it. I’m So glad we did!

I disagree. It’s NOT the best phở ever. Flavor less and presentation doesn’t look very good either. Dunno if it was because I went on a Monday and it’s old phở juice. But didn’t even taste like phở. And I’m not picky. I would give it an extra star for being nice and clean. But I really don’t recommend this place to anyone. Not even worth a second try. Sry guys.

Had to try this place out when I saw it when driving by. I had tofu spring rolls(you can never get those wrong). I also had the tofu/vegetable phở and it was good. My friend had the egg rolls and fried shrimp. I’d like to say I didn’t have those but u totally had to try. The egg rolls were super good. Not very thrilled about the shrimp but they were good. Service was excellent and even cracked a joke with whom I believe was the owner. I’ve been to a few places where the staff isn’t friendly but this place totally is. Place is very clean, ambiance is good and will be going back soon.

3 star for effort! Nice deco, made it into a soothing place even though in a fast food location. Humble waiters!!! FOOD: no Bueno. Spring rolls were so chewy couldn’t take a bite of it. Phở, was ok. Barely served me basil. No flavor. Then noodles swelled up fast and became soft and nasty. Price: average, maybe below average by $ 1! I still prefer basil and mint in Camarillo(best) or the one in Oxnard bl close to Wooley next to LA vero Mexican restaurant.

Portions for the prices are good. Nice décor. Broth was okay. These boys could work on customer service. I’d still come back cuz the prices and it’s near my house. But play some music.

I. Love. Phở! Not only am I excited that there’s finally a great Phở place by work, I’m excited that it’s so tasty and so affordable! I got the #3, the well done flank Phở, and I was a happy camper. I called in my order, and it was ready for pick up in 5 minutes, just enough time for me to drive from work. I’ll definitely be calling in more orders in the future!

I’m loving the location because it adds another option to the mix of fast food in this neighborhood. The phở with flank steak I had from here was average. I feel like there could have been more slices of steak in my bowl. The egg rolls on the other hand were freaking good. Fried to perfection, not too oily and a greater meat to veggie ratio. The servers here could brush up on their service. Check on your tables more often. I was sitting on the wrong side of the restaurant and was waiting for someone to walk by so I could flag them down for a refill of water.

The owner Andy is really nice and the servers are also! They are working out some kinks right now so I get that they’re a little slow sometimes. Working in the service industry makes you a lot more understanding of certain things. I think some people were being a little harsh in their reviews. Anyways, the food here is really good! I’ve had the rice dishes and the phở here. I’ve been by a few times on my lunch breaks and haven’t been disappointed yet. The phở ap chao, rice and bbq, and phở are all good bets. The phở could use a little more flavor. I think they should have their spoons and chopsticks on the table, it would be more convenient for them so they don’t have to go back and forth so many times. I do think it’s a little weird that there’s an up charge if you want lettuce with your egg rolls but no big deal. Also, like many other Vietnamese restaurants, you have to go to the register to pay. The service here is really good, not like other Vietnamese restaurants. The biggest thing we’re picky on is getting our drinks refilled, and the guys were always on top of that. They are all really happy and friendly, it’s a really welcoming environment. Edit: They have spoons and chopsticks on the table!

This place is conveniently around the corner from my boyfriends house and waking distance from OC and CIHS, so a gold star for that. The décor is so brand new and clean and we were seated right away. They don’t have milk teas and the Thai tea I bought was a little expensive but still good. The phở was really good, too! The broth was so flavorful, that I actually finished all of it. We also had the tofu spring rolls and the peanut sauce was amaaaaaaazing. We had one server who was very nice and helpful, and another who wasn’t much help or very cheerful. It took forever to even get him to come and offer us refills and I felt a little rushed by him to leave. We’ll probably come back on another cold though.

They’re a new establishment so they are still working out the kinks in service — don’t expect much. Takeout took 30 minutes. Got home and I was disappointed with the TINY portion size for the calamari and the pork spring rolls lacked meat. I usually add an ice cube to cool down my daughter’s phở but she wouldn’t even touch the soup here because of the amount of fat that curdled up. The shrimp fried rice was good. I’ll still come here for an emergency phở fix, when I’m too lazy to go to Jimmy’s spot.

Came here for dinner, and we were seated right away. They’re offering free soda as their opening give away, but we got iced coffee, which i think needed a little bit more coffee and less condensed milk. For appetizers we got the eggrolls with lettuce, I didn’t like the fact that we’re paying 2 dollars extra for 3 pieces of lettuce, with some pickled carrots and you’re missing the daikon. The eggrolls were good and big enough for 2, the dipping sauce is good too. For our mains, we got the Oxtail Phở and my bf got the Phở with well done flank, tendon and rare steak. Everything was great! The broth was good, the meats were high quality and cooked well. My bf things the oxtail is too gingery but it was perfect for me. Service was great! They’re a new business so 3 different people kept on checking on us every 5 minutes or so. Hopefully the service and food won’t change!

Checked this place out since it’s close to where I get my nails done… I had the phở with rare and well done beef. The beef itself was tender; however, the broth was cold and which may have been the reason it was somewhat flavorless. Even with the condiments on the table I couldn’t get it to taste like anything reminiscent of phở broth. I also ordered the egg rolls with lettuce, but it only came with three pieces of lettuce. I’m used to getting it with other vegetables so I’m not sure what happened with that. I also ordered the fried shrimp. I liked that it wasn’t so heavily battered. The spring rolls were large with actual peanut sauce. I wanted to try other things on the menu but they weren’t readily available at this time. Prices at this restaurant are competitive with similar phở restaurants around. I’ll try this place out a few more times after they get their wheels turning. But in the meantime I’ll stick to my regular phở restaurants in town.

A very solid 3 stars for this place. I have been a regular at Phở Saigon for a while now and when I heard that there’s a new phở place closer by I had to go check it out. My boyfriend and I got seated right away and my first impression was that it was pretty clean & the décor is not much different from other Phở places around. For appetizers I got shrimp spring rolls, I was thinking about getting the crepes as well because it was on the menu. But they didn’t have it. For entrees we got the Phở Dac Biet and shrimp fried rice and for drinks I got coconut juice. The spring rolls tasted okay; however, it was very tough. For the phở… the portion size is very good; although the soup was a bit cold when we got it so that might have changed the flavor of the soup. The broth by itself is decent, but with a little help from hoisin sauce, sriracha and a bit of lime it was good. Nothing to really rave about. The shrimp fried rice was cold as well and the portion size was small. It was just okay. The star of my visit was my drink, I’m used to getting coconut juice from Phở Saigon so naturally I got it here too. I wasn’t expecting much, but they came out with a real coconut! I loved it so much I could not get enough! I wanted to try a rice plate there, but they did not have broken rice so I was pretty disappointed. Maybe to other people it wouldn’t tasted different, but for me who grew up in Vietnam and always had a rice plate with broken rice and pork chops can taste the different between broken rice and regular rice. So I saved myself the disappointment and didn’t bother getting a plate. Our server Joey was very attentive and honest with all of his answers to our questions. It’s a brand new place and they have plenty of room to improve! If you’re thinking of trying this place out you should. The food isn’t amazing, but it’s pretty solid !
