Omg to me it’s the best then it’s Starbucks don’t get the hype why Starbucks is popular??? But coffee bean is the best so delicious and always will blended unlike Starbucks?

Got a cappuccino. There was only two people in front of me. The barista took 15 mins to get my cappuccino out. They have to get a better strategy of getting drinks out to their customers. The cashier had the highest energy I’ve ever witnessed in my life. Super nice.

Not my favorite location… it never seems to be all that clean and it’s often out of pastries and desserts, but when you need a pick me up for the long drive home, it beats Starbucks down the street!

Thank you for always getting my weird order right. I really dislike the taste of coffee and I’m sensitive to it so I appreciate that they keep their tea and coffee prep totally separate. They don’t share blenders etc. My tea latte is always the perfect treat and the parfaits are awesome.

Got a $ 6 drink and then wanted a refill for an iced tea that they charge a $ 1 for. Their general manager decides to give me trouble for that and asks to next time not do it. Starbucks never has this kind of offensive behavior and as many as I’ve been to, never got this kind of treatment. Plus their refill is half price of coffee bean. Stay away!

I was trying to figure out why this place would be a 3 maybe even a 2 out of 5 stars & today, I experienced that. Going here really depends what time of day you come in. Mornings & lunch time are always busy, evenings I’ve come to find a little more mellow, but if you’re coming in to study, grab yourself a chair earlier in the day.
I ordered a small regular coffee & a small cherry blossom iced tea. I waited almost 20 minutes maybe even more (the longest I’ve waited) just to get both; however, they gave me the hot coffee first & I had to go up to the barista to ask if they had my iced tea ready & they didn’t. I came in on a Sunday mid day & they were super busy. I understand you’re busy, but put a smile on & show your customer service. As I was waiting for my drinks, you hear one of the baristas say, «so much for clocking out early» as if she wasn’t expecting a coffee rush & took off her apron. They were kind enough to put the cherry blossom iced tea in a venti instead, but that still didn’t satisfy the wait & the customer service. Any complaints with this coffee shop, the general manager’s name is right on their front door.

I really enjoy stopping at this Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf location right off of the 101 freeway. Always friendly and fast service. I like how when there’s a line at the register the barista speeds things up by asking me what drink I want made while I wait in line. They have a great assortment of baked goods, lots of seating areas and ample parking. Excellent drinks, as usual.

Love this chain. Unlike Starbucks, they only have a few places and its really hard to look for one when you travel. They make the best chocolate slushy !

Always great service and great organic Mexican coffee, being coming here for many years and it’s the beast coffee place on the area they are really consistent on service and quality

Quick and friendly service. Clean place with plenty of seating. I was impressed with a barista named Kris. She was super fast and on the ball. Great job Kris. You deserve a raise.

I don’t like coffee but I love the fact that they have other drinks that I can enjoy. I tried the Malibu dream and always got a small because it was a bit to sweet for my tastes but I still love it. It woke me up on days I needed it. (Coffee doesn’t wake me up, sugar does, I don’t crash cuz I know my limit)
Then I got introduced to the drink that has pomegranate. I instantly feel in love with it. Not too sweet and I love that fact! I get a large of it every time and am never disappointed! And I’m sorry I forgot the name of it but I do know that the main ingredient is pomegranate.
The people working there are always kind and if I every have a question their always happy to answer it. Thank you guys! Keep up the good work!

I go to a coffee bean at least once a week. Today I came in and ordered 4 drinks. 2 pure Vanillas & 1 ultimate vanilla with HALF THE BEANS & 1 dark chocolate ADD BEANS. They couldn’t understand this. The workers were confused on witch one had beans or didn’t and they asked the cashier to repeat my drinks 4 times. I’m not bashing their intelligence because I work in customer service and know how that feels, but I was so exhausted by the fact that I couldn’t customize my drinks without confusion.

First of all, they don’t know what a caramel macchiato is, and even when I explained it and asked them to make it, they made it wrong. Their standards for pouring lattes and cappuccinos are too far to the extremes. The lattes have no foam at all whereas the cappuccinos are almost entirely foam. I am just very disappointed at what they consider to be well made coffee drinks. The teas are good and the service is fairly good. But the coffee is just not up to par.

I had a vanilla blended and it had an off taste to it. It actually tasted kind of chocolate and not very vanilla. It was kind of watery too. Disappointing for $ 4.35

Good place to get a quick coffee! Parking is a little rough but it’s a great place with free wifi and friendly service!

I have to say I love coffee! This is the perfect place to get it. The only down fall is every time I come in here they are so busy there is a wait. That’s a good and bad thing. I will say as busy as they are they always get my order right. Don’t know how they keep it straight. The staff is on it and very friendly. :o)

Gabriel Laguna –mgr sold out company $ 200 worth of $ 5 coffee bean cards 6 of those cards did not have the value added to the cards. We gave out cards to our staff and were embarrassed when staff brought them back because the cards didn’t work. We then had to go back to Coffee Bean with receipts and the manager said he’d check into it. One day later calls us back and says there is nothing he can do. We are OUT THE MONEY? What kind of business and manager does this to their customers??? Poor manager, poor customer service.
We will be calling the head office and writing a letter. Obviously go to another coffee bean, don’t buy their gift cards!

I stopped in here for a quick snack and to meet a friend. I don’t drink coffee and don’t like how teas taste so I asked the lady behind the counter — «What do you have that doesn’t have coffee, or caffeine?» She said they had pretty much anything I might want. I asked if they had a hot apple cider but she conceded they did not. She offered me instead a … oh man I don’t even know what the name of the tea was but she explained that it had vanilla and milk in it and it sounded wonderful and I got it and it was heavenly.
The dining area was clean and the staff was helpful and enthusiastic. It’s in a part of town that has extra homeless folks around, and the gender-​neutral single-​person restroom wasn’t as beautiful as I’d have liked, but overall it was a good experience and I’d come back here. The pastries looked AMAZING and I only didn’t get one because I was trying to be healthy. Instead I got this thing that was like a single-​serving picnic snack tray with cheese, crackers, almonds and grapes. The chunks of cheese weren’t sliced, but were soft enough I could mush them onto the cracker with my hands. Finger foods, but very very tasty.
I’m a new fan.

I love coffee bean! I’m pretty much there everyday so I’m familiar with most of the staff. Some of them are great, super friendly! Others however, look miserable! Not one day but every time I see them they look the same. Very rude too, ask them for something and they’ll do it but look super annoyed by it:
Those who do their job correctly here deserve a raise.
