Worse place ever. Dirty, yucky, nothing good to say. Never again will I set foot in this establishment. If I could give them a –5 star review,.I would! Sucks that it’s in the middle of Oxnard but I would rather drive a little longer to La Palapa or Jungle Juice. Their food, customer service and cleaniness are better.

Good food for vegetarians, less than stellar tidiness. I’m vegetarian so all I order is the fruit salad /energetico. I’ve come for their smoothies and they’re pretty good. There is another Arco Iris in town that’s better kept, so this gets two stars. The restaurant looks unkempt and trash is on the floor while the employee is chatting with her friend. She brought the food to my table and was no more polite than I’d expect her to be. But I looked around while eating and noticed there was trash littering the floor and some tables needed to be cleaned, It was a young girl working, but there really shouldn’t be an excuse to have the store unkempt like that on slow days.

Went there once and had a torta. Place wasn’t the cleanest and food was just ok. Close to work so went. Have other places I would rather go.

The fact that I love Arco iris food has nothing to do with the girls horrible service. Jackie and the girl that makes the food that is supposedly in charge are horrible. First off I call my order in 15 min prior and the girl tells me if there’s customers they might not be able to have my food ready on time. Really? So what’s the point of the calling in my order?! So I get there and they skip me. I tell Jackie, if that’s her name anyhow, «you SKIPPED me» and she rolls her eyes and laughs. I ask for a phone number and name of the owner they say. Nope, we are in charge and there’s no number. This is horrible customer service. The lack of rolling eyes and laughing is not professional at all!!! Please hire mature girls not kids that will be doing this… I’m sure this will go no where because the majority customers are Hispanics that go there and all they care is the food not the service. Mind you I’m Hispanic.

I LOVE this place. I absolutely love their ham tortas… I add avocado which makes it even better & their strawberry licuado is amazing. I’ve never had problems coming here and I recommend this place if you haven’t been here. When I’m short on time, I call my order in and by the time I get there it’s good to go.

The tortas are good, But the licuados are awful, since when do you add water to it. The licuado taste like a smoothie. Oh but they charge like it was made with milk.

Geez what happen to this place. I used to come here with my parents when I was young and it seemed more friendly and family oriented. I came here for the first time in a while but now I see it’s changed. I’m sorry to be a dick but It’s true the restrooms are disgusting and the place is full with trash on the floor wtf really? I didn’t even want to eat after I seen the floors… I will never come back sorry there’s other torta places with bigger and better sandwiches also with better hygiene

Best Tortas in Ventura County. I always get the Turkey torta with white cheese and it is the best. Cant go wrong with this place. The Horchata Milkshake is amazing. If ever in Oxnard make sure to visit. It is a hole in the wall, and they are always the best places!

I ordered a chicken torta with everything, they gave me 2 frozen chicken patties, cut in half and grilled on this enormous torta. Thinking, no this couldn’t be, I ate it. Finally after eating it I went up to the lady working there and asked if those were frozen chicken patties, she said yes. I was expected a nice grilled chicken filet cut up, but instead I got shit, and I paid full price for said shit! Pathetic, and just a bad way to do business!

These are the best tortas in town and they make a milkshake style horchata. It’s the bomb. I love this place.

Solid tortas, licuados(milkshakes), and fruit salads! Tortas come in a wide variety of choices that include milanesa, al pastor, turkey, and head cheese, among others. It typically comes with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, jalapenos, and your choice of protein. It is then placed on a press grill and grilled to toasty perfection. The outside of the bread has a nice crunchy texture that is not overdone, and the mayo melts perfectly into the bread without overcooking the vegetables inside. Delicious! As for he milkshakes, they are made in-house and while they have a fairly extensive menu of fruit-based shakes, my friends and I tend to stick with the strawberry and horchata ones. Consistently good. They have an assortment of fresh fruit daily from which to make your heart’s desire, though. The other item I frequent this place for is the«energetico,» a variation of a fruit salad with cottage cheese, walnuts, honey, and shaved coconut all dolloped above a huuuge plate of freshly cut up fruit. Mmmm. Used to be the best post-workout meal! lol. Felt like we were splurging, yet within the confines of a healthy meal. I call it a meal because the size is big enough for an entire meal on its own. Clearly not a snack size. Place is most definitely worth a try! Been coming here for years and the foods has been consistently good. It’s also been a plus when I see the bread getting delivered in the morning. I know I’m getting freshly-baked bread in my torta.
