Best service I’ve had. Period. These guys are thorough, friendly, and quick. I recommend this place 100% I’ve been here 3x, every time was quick and never disappointing

I have always had great service as well as found the best prices at AV tire. I have also recommended to a handful of friends that have had the same good experience. They were even honest with me about repairs that they could have easily up sold.

We get all 3 of our vehicles serviced here and have always had a great experience. Yes, they are busy, so plan on dropping off your car and getting a ride back if you can. They are worth the wait, as they are honest, priced right and always take great care of your needs. Would never go anywhere else for tires, shocks, struts, etc. Highly recommended!

Do yourself a favor and don’t go to this shop.
Very bad service, they’ll have you waiting and just blow you off. They help who they want and will get to you when they feel like so. I understand sometimes it gets busy, but don’t ignore your customers. All I wasted was a used tire since I had the spare. Bad bad bad.

The other reviews will tell you that it is busy at AV Tire, and they are correct. They have been wonderful! I have gone in twice for tire issues and BOTH times I drop off the vehicle and pick it up fixed! I find that the staff is friendly and helpful. The parking area is a bit tight but so worth the service you receive!

Came on a Monday afternoon. They were pretty busy, but took out the nail on my tire and patched up the hole for free. I had originally taken it to my car dealer, but they said the hole was on the side, so they wanted to replace the whole tire! This place patched it up no problem! It was worth the wait.

I had a great experiences going there for years getting my flat tires fixed and alignment for a great price in town and tires rotated, sure there a wait line, that why people know they get the service they get without being charged twice the price of it…
Just got new tires for the truck and couldn’t do alignment without getting the pitman and ilder arm fixes gave me a great quote and now I’m driving around hitting the corner smoother and more tight than swaying loose and vibration before and just drove around la all day and it drive like a champ… Price was so ridiculous low for all the services they provided for me, I sure if it was anyone else it be over my budget… So glad I came here… Great people, and they take pride in their jobs…

If you want to be blown off and not be taken in consideration because of them «multitasking» this is the place to waste your time.
I arrived to A V tires to get my flat tires fixed. When the assistant manager or whatever he was help me out I told him what services I needed so he just said ok put this sign on ur windshield and we will help you out. So I did and I was waiting for an hour or more, and then I seen this guy pulling up to get the same service as I did so without them telling him to wait or to put the paper on his wildshield with in 5 to10 min they help him out and I was still waiting. Till I went to tell them that they help out this guy first then me when I been waiting an hour or more that’s when they help me out. What a good service they provided. If it wasn’t because I went to tell them I would still be outside in the heat waiting to get 2 tires fixed

I don’t write many reviews, but due to my dissatisfaction with the customer service and quality of work with this company, I’ve decided to create this account and write my first review. To start things off, I was referred here by a family member.
I called before I came in to check and see if they had the new tires and the new tire rod replacement part I put in for order. He told me they had it, so I asked him if they were busy and he told me to just come in. I came in about 30 minutes later and sure enough they were busy. I was told that it would be about a two hour wait or so and if I wanted, I could come back tomorrow. I told him, I will wait since I’m already here and need this done so that I don’t have to worry about it later, so I began waiting patiently for two hours in their waiting area.
Now, as you come in they give you a number cone to put on top of your vehicle to establish some type of numerical order for assisting customers. As I waited, I was #6 with two cones on top of my vehicle. One red cone for service in replacing tires and one blue cone for service in mechanical work needed. As I waited, I watched and observed. From what I noticed, I watched about 7 – 10 customers who came in after me have their car serviced before me. Of those 7 – 10 customers, only one of them was having mechanical work done on their vehicle. To better understand the situation, if you’re planning on having mechanical work done, be aware that the numbers on the cone don’t mean anything to them, they will continue to service the tire replacement customers first.
Finally after 2 hours, they moved my car into their shop to only be stationed for another half hour before they lifted my car up to work on the tires. As they worked on my tires, another guy (I think he is the owner) talking with the mechanic walks over to me asking me about my issue with my tire rod. I told him that it’s bent and that it needs to be replaced; he then looks at it for a quick minute and tells me that it’s the other tire rod that is the issue. After finally realizing that he was wrong, he then goes and tells me that he doesn’t have the part in stock and that I will have to come back tomorrow to have it done. Now why would someone other than the mechanic come to me 10 minutes before they actually close to tell me that they don’t have the part in stock when they clearly told me they did and that I specifically ordered the correct tire rod regardless of what the man had to say. Come on, I’m not stupid. If I wanted just my tires replaced, I would’ve been done over an hour ago. Piss-​poor communication.
To better understand my personality, I’m not one to make a big deal out of things, but after this experience with the shitty customer service I just witnessed, I will rethink not being more outspoken for myself. Honestly, I just wanted to get the job done, but obviously their intentions were a lot different than mine.
Fast forward to tomorrow, I come in bright and early. This time I have the #1 cones on top of my vehicle. After about 30 minutes of setting up the shop, they drove my car to the lifting mechanisms. Again my car stays stationed for another 10 – 15 minutes as they work on the tire service customers first. Finally after 45 minutes of waiting since the shop opened, they lifted my car and started working on the tire rod. I watched and observed the process.
After a short period of time, the mechanic was done. It literally took him no more than 25 minutes to replace my tire rod. After that process was complete, he then aligned my tires and completed the job. I then paid and drove home.
Overall, I wasted 4.5 hours of my life trying to get something done, which should’ve only taken an hour or two at most. As a customer, I am very dissatisfied with their customer service and as far as their quality of work, when I finally got home to wash my car and clean my tires, I noticed that my emblem on my hub cap was missing in which was not missing previously to having my car serviced with this company. When I called them back to complain about it missing, they told me that it was nowhere to be found at the shop and that I could come back and look for it, if I wanted to. Maybe I should do just that and see if I find anything. To conclude, the prices here are fair, but just be aware that if quality is what you want from a company I would suggest looking elsewhere.
Note: Make sure you set some ground rules on what it is you want done that is if you plan to have your vehicle serviced. Quality and customer service is important, so do a little more research when planning to do business with people and especially automotive shops. Some people can be deceiving so always know who’s in charge as well as remember their names.

Great service! Friendly staff. I went in to replace my tire and I was running on my spare tire. They fixed it quick on a busy Sunday morning plus the guy put back my spare and organized the tools neatly where they belong with the spare. That’s why I don’t go anywhere else to get my tires. They don’t just do a job but they do it right every time.

A and V tires is THE tire shop to go to in Oxnard. The service was exceptional. The front desk kept me well informed of the process as it was happening. I was able to see the tire before I bought it. Their prices are very reasonable. This is my second time in 4 years. I highly recommend A and V to any coworker or friend!

The only place I get my tires from. Everyone is so knowledgeable and I love the family owned environment. They’re super honest and don’t try to hussle you or sell you on unneeded items :)

I had a slow leak on one of my tires, so I called AV tires and they told me it would cost $ 7.50 to fix. That seemed like a great deal, so I went down to the shop. When I got there it was very busy, just like all the other reviews said. They took me in, gave me a fresh cup of coffee at no charge, and in less than 45 minutes had my tire repaired. however, it did not cost me $ 7.50… They gave it to me for free! They seem to really be attentive to the customer and want to make sure you feel like you had a great deal. I would not hesitate to recommend them

We found this place on Unilocal after our air pressure was low on a tire. The place is very, very busy. I was given a sign to put on my car and was given a half hour wait time. Within half hour, they had repaired the tire and had found another slow leak in another tire that they also fixed. Then, the manager told us to take it, no charge as he rushed off to help someone else.
If your looking for hand holding and white glove service, this isn’t it. But if you want fast, good, fair service this is your spot.

Great place for tires. Staff was helpful and they had me in and out in 45 minutes on a busy Saturday morning. Was quoted one price but actually paid less than the quote. Armando was a huge help and even gave me options instead of forcing a pair of tires on me.

This place is super busy, but they get the job done and they’re honest. Another tire shop tried to get me to pay $ 1000 for struts and AV told me my struts were good and that I only needed an alignment. Thanks AV for saving a student some serious cash! Oh and they have great prices as well.

Great service. Highly recommend. Got a set of 60,000 mile high quality tires for the same price as a 40,000 mile low end tire at big brand or Americas tire. Didn’t try to up sell or oversell anything. Very honest.
