Elizabeth Heiskell and her husband Luke Heiskell own a farm in Oxford, MS. They provide locally grown heirloom produce to over 25 restaurants in Memphis. Elegant Farmer, Ciaobella, Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen, Erling Jensen, Memphis Hunt & Polo Club, River Oaks, Beauty Shop, Alchemy, Interim, Felicia Suzanne, Sweet Grass, Iris, Folks Folly, and St Jude’s Kay Café, just to name a few. They decided to start offering CSA shares to the public last year. Elizabeth and Luke deliver CSA produce to Memphis Weekly on Wednesdays. Elizabeth is the head chef at Viking Range Corporation and the owner of Elizabeth Heiskell Catering. She is the noted cookbook author of Somebody Sole The Cornbread From My Dressing. She has cooked for Al Gore, four Mississippi Governors, Thomas Keller, Alice Waters, and The Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson. From Elizabeth’s extensive experiences in the cooking world she and her staff are graciously kind and helpful with recipes for weekly vegetable deliveries.
