Reserve Run Family Farm specializes in growing all natural meats on our family farm. We are in our third generation on our farm that was started in 1943. Our products include hormone and antibiotic free beef, pasture raised poultry and deeply bedded pork. All of our animals have access to the outdoors.
We sell our products through local restaurants, small grocery stores and through on farm sales. Our on farm sales are a personalized shopping experience set up by appointment.
Our beef is offered in individual cuts as well as in different quantities for freezer beef. You have the options of whole, half or a mixed quarter for freezer beef. We also individually label and vacuum seal all of our meat. Chickens are offered as whole, half, individual cuts and various sausages. Pork is offered as individual cuts or as freezer pork in whole or half quantities. Pork is also individually labeled and vacuum packaged.

History
Established in 1943.
Our family farm, south of Oxford, OH. was established in 1943 by Wayne and Eileen Johnson. Now in our third and fourth generations of farmers we are very proud to be continuing our family tradition.
We have raised cattle since we settled on our farm. They have been our centerpiece ever since. Our family has provided freezer beef to other families for many decades.
In 2009 we decided to make our beef more readily available by offering it as individual cuts at local farmers markets. Our staple market was the Oxford Farmers Market. We absolutely loved our experience there, and at other local markets. Our products were so well received that we expanded our product lines to include Pasture Raised Chicken and very recently, deeply bedded natural pork. We now offer personalized shopping experiences on the farm by appointment and our products can be found at select local groceries. We also continue to offer all of our products in bulk such a freezer beef, pork and whole chickens.

Business Owner
My name is Drew and I am the owner of Reserve Run Family Farm. I founded our company in 2009 to connect local customers who appreciate high quality, responsibly raised meats with the products we have raised on our family farm since 1943. It seemed like such a waste of potential to send our high quality beef to the stockyards to be sold to a meat packer who will blend it with a thousand other cattle to make hamburger.
I am a third generation farmer who has been working since I could push a broom. I have a deep passion for farming and animal husbandry. It is a common trait that runs in my family. I believe our passion is reflected in the quality of our meats.
I am the proud father of two beautiful daughters, Izzy and Lucy. I am also happily married to Ashley Johnson, a wonderful woman who is very supportive of the work intensive lifestyle I have adopted. We met while we were undergraduates at Miami University.
