Great apartments but management sucks… Everything was good until angela the neighbor from hell moved in below me. I had several neighbors come and go below me and never a complaint until angela moved in. Her son was on house arrest and would drink with all his friends, use tasers on each other. I am the type to mind my own business but as soon as I would have visitors angela would call the cops complaining of loud noise. Of course I confronted angela and the first thing out of her mouth was I have a job unlike you. I was a college student at the time, not on section 8. Just trying to make it but in her eyes, and was on welfare, leeching off the system. Seriously, its an apartment. You are going to hear some noise. But it was just me for the most part. She lied on my fiancé’ stating that he tried to poison her dog, wtf. It was so bad that the coward of a property manager, barbara, left a note on my door stating that my fiancé wasnt welcome there anymore. The next day I asked to be let out of my lease. The nicest thing they did was dissolving my lease w/​o penalty. In other words, if you are not the right color people can just make up stories to make you life miserable. I felt that when it came down to it «white is right» and barbara pipkin was the perfect example of the racism that goes on in granville county. I’m just happy to have moved on.
