Established in 2009.

Amelia is a tiny shop at just 187 square feet, but we pack a big punch, representing over 200 independent artists in the shop. We also have a full online store as well, ameli​ap​re​sents​.com, if you don’t happen to be able to make it to Oxford.

Business Owner

Shop owner Erin Austen Abbott opened Amelia after many years of traveling for work, selling merchandise for various bands, on tour. After settling down in her childhood hometown, Amelia opened in 2009. Because it was one of the first shops of its kind in the South, that opened doors to national recognition from such press as The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Design Sponge, Real Simple, Garden & Gun, Anthology, Design Love Fest, Forbes and many more.

My favorite gift shop in Oxford, MS. One of a kind hand crafted paper goods, jewelry, etc! A must when shopping on the Oxford Square! The owner is always adding items to her inventory and also has an awesome website to order from if you are visiting Oxford.

A quaint little shop just off of the square (across from Bottletree Bakery) with a great selection of cute & unique items you don’t see anywhere else. Would be a great place to find a unique gift as well!

If you like letterpress, this is heaven.
Neat little stationery store tucked right off the square. I was impressed with the assortment of designs. She also offers fun and quirky gift décor. Prices very reasonable.

After reading about Amelia on Design*Sponge, I had to make a trip to this design conscience store. Owned by Erin Abbott, this store is full of unique finds. In search of a wedding present and a little gift for myself, I was mesmerized by their selection. They have anything from scented drawer liners to owl shaped pillows. This place is the perfect pitstop if you’re in Oxford, MS. They are only opened Wednesday — Saturday from 12 — 5pm. Come support local artist and crafters! You’ll be happy that you did.
