As a young girl I would walk by the jewelry windows at Sharfman’s Jewelers in the Worcester Center in Massachusetts. These windows were always so purple, dreamy, elegant and simple; all at the same time! That, I thought, would be my dream job!
A simple plan:
Over the last eight years, I have worked to obtain my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Here I was, 50 years old and just graduating from college! The final project for my Business degree consisted of writing a business plan. I decided that I wanted to write the plan for something that interested me, something attainable. I have always had a flair for putting together gift packages, so writing a business plan about that came naturally. During my research, I stumbled upon the National Gift Basket Convention in San Jose, CA, July 20 – 22, 2012. Off I went for three of the most inspirational days in my life.
